Medication Rule And Academic Thoughts In The Treatment Of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer By Professor XU Hefen:An Analysis Using Data Mining

Professor Xu Hefen(hereinafter referred to as Professor Xu)is the chief physician and doctoral supervisor of Jiangsu provincial hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.She is a famous senior Chinese doctor in China and a famous national doctor in Jiangsu Province.She enjoys the special allowance of experts from the State Council.Professor Xu has been engaged in the prevention and treatment of cancer with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for nearly 50 years.She has rich clinical experience and profound academic attainments,especially good at the treatment of lung cancer with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.The academic thought research of famous and old Chinese medicine is an important factor to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine.Based on modern data mining technology,this paper analyzes and discusses professor Xu’s clinical medication rules and academic thought in the treatment of NSCLC,so as to provide clinical reference for TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of NSCLC.This paper is divided into three parts:literature review,drug use law research and academic thought analysis.The first part is literature review,mainly including the research progress of lung cancer in traditional Chinese medicine and the application of data mining in modern Chinese medicine.The research progress of lung cancer in traditional Chinese medicine is divided into theoretical research and experimental research.In the theoretical research,the author summarizes the understanding of ancient and modern doctors on the etiology,pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation and treatment of lung cancer.In the experimental research,the author expounds the achievements of modern experimental research of traditional Chinese medicine from two aspects:inhibiting the growth and metastasis of tumor cells and regulating the immune function of the body.The second and third parts are the research on the law of drug use and academic thought.Professor Xu has been engaged in the work of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of cancer for nearly 50 years,especially in the treatment of lung cancer with rich clinical experience.This study collected the medical records of XU Hefen’s first outpatient treatment for NSCLC,involving 180 traditional Chinese medicines in total.Data mining technology was used to analyze clinical syndrome types,frequency of traditional Chinese medicine,sexual taste,meridian tropism,efficacy,clustering and association rules,and found and summarized Professor Xu’s medication rules and academic thoughts of clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of NSCLC.[Objective]To analyze Professor Xu’s prescription of NSCLC based on data mining technology,summarize Professor Xu’s medication rule and academic thought of NSCLC,and provide new ideas and directions for clinical and scientific research of TCM treatment of NSCLC.[Methods]In this study,xminer operation tool v1.4 and spss26.0 were used to make statistics on syndrome differentiation and prescription medication,frequency analysis,association rule analysis and cluster analysis on traditional Chinese medicine,and data mining on syndrome differentiation rule,drug frequency,common drug pair,corner drug and core prescription was completed.Based on the analysis of the rule of drug use,this paper summarizes Professor Xu’s academic thoughts on the treatment of NSCLC.[results]In 306 cases,Qi and yin deficiency were the main syndromes.Professor Xu’s most common clinical syndromes were Yin tonics,Qi tonics and heat clearing and detoxification drugs.There were 30 traditional Chinese medicines with a frequency of more than 50%.The first five were buckwheat,almond,Fritillaria thunbergii,holothurian,Hedyotis diffusa,holothurian and holothurian;buckwheat,almond and Fritillaria thunbergii;Atractylodes macrocephala,mulberry;SagittariaFu Ling,Huai yam,Zhi Huang Jing and mulberry are the most commonly used combinations of traditional Chinese medicine by Professor Xu.Based on the study of drug use law,Professor Xu’s academic thoughts are summarized from two aspects of pathogenesis and treatment.Professor Xu believes that "deficiency of Qi and Yin and accumulation of cancer toxin" are the basic pathogenesis of NSCLC.In the treatment of clinical syndrome,we should grasp "strengthening" and "removing evil",take "strengthening as the basis,giving consideration to both qi and Yin,taking removing evil as the standard,detoxifying and anti-cancer,and pay attention to" harmony "throughout,and flexibly use" benefiting qi "in clinical syndromeThe method of Nourishing Yin,detoxifying and anticancer is based on syndrome differentiation and treatment.[Conclusion]Professor Xu’s medication rules and academic thoughts in the treatment of NSCLC are summarized as follows:① based on strengthening the body,giving consideration to both qi and Yin;② based on eliminating pathogenic factors,detoxification and anticancer;③ based on syndrome differentiation and treatment,and connected with each other;④based on syndrome addition and subtraction,flexible use;⑤ psychological guidance,positive and optimistic.
