Medical crowdfunding is a product of the “Internet +” era.It is based on public welfare and charity rescue and sharing economy,and is gradually being accepted by the public.Medical crowdfunding is mainly done with the help of online crowdfunding platforms,and plays a very important role in supplementing and improving China’s medical security system and maintaining social stability.As a new form of public welfare,medical crowdfunding has more advantages than traditional offline public welfare donations.Its emergence is an innovation of China’s traditional public welfare form and has added new vitality to the development of China’s public welfare undertakings.But at the same time,as a new thing,the development of medical crowdfunding will inevitably encounter bottlenecks and face ethical issues.These problems have seriously affected the public’s recognition of medical crowdfunding and reduced people’s enthusiasm for participating in medical crowdfunding.This article will focus on the analysis of ethical issues in the development of medical crowdfunding,and combined with my independent thinking,put forward corresponding recommendations.This article defines the concept of medical crowdfunding based on the research of domestic and foreign scholars on crowdfunding,public welfare crowdfunding,and medical crowdfunding,and believes that medical crowdfunding refers to the use of crowdfunding to raise funds for patients with traditional treatments.On this basis,the theoretical and practical sources of medical crowdfunding and the ethical implications are combed one by one,and through the analysis of representative cases,the ethical issues that are currently emerging in the development of medical crowdfunding are found,including: fraud and fraud Frequent donations,lack of transparency in the use of crowdfunding,the existence of profitmaking activities on crowdfunding platforms,and the lack of personal information protection for medical crowdfunding donors.In response to these problems,the causes of ethical issues were analyzed from the aspects of medical crowdfunding behavior participant level,medical crowdfunding platform level,management level,and supervision level,which were considered to be the lack of integrity of medical crowdfunding helpers and medical crowdfunding donors.The lack of rationality has led to repeated frauds and donations;due to the insufficient verification of the authenticity of the information requested by the crowdfunding platform,the imperfect information disclosure system of the platform,and the lack of selfdiscipline and other disciplines of the crowdfunding platform,the transparency of the use of charitable funds is lacking;due to the government The lack of macro-control and unclear government regulatory responsibilities have given some crowdfunding platforms the opportunity to seek private gains for themselves;because the supervision power of public opinion has not been fully exerted,and at the same time,some criminals are driven by interests and commit crimes The low cost leads to the leakage of personal information of medical crowdfunding helpers,and the security of personal information cannot be effectively protected.Finally,this article proposes specific suggestions from the perspectives of regulating the behavior of both parties in the medical crowdfunding behavior,strengthening the internal self-discipline and industry selfdiscipline of the crowdfunding platform,promoting multi-party participation in governance,and strengthening personal help information and privacy protection,with a view to the medical crowd Plan for healthy and sustainable development.
