This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter includes the study of five functional components in Dendrobiumthe and the development of a first-class national standard of scoparone.The second chapter involves characteristics study of the extract from Isodon lophanthoides var.graciliflorus,which is including the research of its anti-inflammatory activity after the separation and purification;In the end,the identification of natural chemical constituents isolated from Isodon lophanthoides and its related pharmacological investigations are reviewed in the third chapter.In the first part,the content of five functional components in eight varieties of Dendrobium was determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and then the national standard standard was developed for the artemisia lactone in Dendrobium.Including:obtaining high purity artemisia lactone standard in Dendrobium by silica gel column chromatography,extraction,acid-base method,and the like.The high-resolution mass spectrometry,infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance were used to verify the structural characterization of the standard samples,and the purity of the standard samples was verified on the other hand based on the specificity of the spectra.The uniformity test and stability investigation of the standard sample are carried out to judge whether the uniformity of the standard sample is qualified.The law of the characteristic value of the sample changes with time,which provides a basis for the sample packaging form,the determination of the storage condition and the establishment of the effective period.The uncertainty of the standard sample purity determination results is analyzed to determine the purity range of the standard sample.Accurate study on the high uniformity,good stability and quantity of the standard sample of artemisia lactis in Dendrobium candidum.In the second part,Isodon lophanthoides(Buch.-Ham.ex D.Don)var.graciliflorus(Benth.)is perennial herb distributed in Xizang,Yunnan,Sichuan,Guizhou,Guangxi and Guangdong provinces of China.The aerial parts of Isodon lophanthoides are empirically employed as antimalarial and anti-inflammatory agents and also for the treatment of enteritis and jaundice.In our ongoing search for bioactive diterpenoids from this plant,an investigation of the chemical constituents of Isodon Lophanthoides var.graciliflorus,which was collected in Guangzhou,led to isolation of three known diterpenoids and one known steroid compound;abieta-6,8,11,13-tetraene-3?,12-diol,3a-hinokiol,3?-hydroxy-15-oxo-17-norsempervirol,?-sitosterol,and determine the anti-inflammatory activity of three diterpenoids.In the last part,the author covers 40 literatures published to detail the chemical constituents and pharmocolgical investigations.
