Objective:To investigate whether the total flavonoids of Dracocephalum Moldavica L.could improve the cardiac injury induced by hypoxic pulmonary hypertension in rats. Methods:Set low pressure and low oxygen simulation environment, will be 60 mouse points 6 groups, for the plain in the control group(BG),the plateau model group(MG),positive drug group(NE),total flavonoids moldavica dragonhead high, medium and low dose group(DML)H,DML)M,DML.L),the determination of each rat pulmonary arterial pressure, heart colour to exceed examination, measurement of serum C-reactive protein(CRP),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1),angiotensin(AGT),heart tissue morphological structure and the content of pathophysiology changes. Results:Compared with BG,MG rats had increased pulmonary artery pressure, increased serum CRP,igf-1,and AGT(P<0.05),significant right ventricular hypertrophy, decreased ejection fraction, and pathological changes in cardiac tissue. After drug intervention, the pulmonary artery pressure, serum CRP,igf-1 and AGT decreased(P<0.05),and the cardiac functional parameters, myocardialtissueandcelldamageweresignificantlyimproved. Conclusion:Total flavonoids of DracocephalumMoldavuca L have certain effect on improving cardiac injury induced by hypoxic pulmonary hypertension in rats.
