Objective:to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of elastic modulus parameters of shear wave elastography in benign and malignant breast masses by Meta analysis,and to determine the elastic parameters with the best diagnostic efficiency.Methods: by searching the Chinese and English literatures about the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses by shear wave elastography before December 2019,Meta analysis was used to evaluate the efficacy of shear wave elastography elastic modulus parameter(Emax,Emean,Eratio,Esd,Emin)in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.Results: A total of 37 articles were included.The combined sensitivity(SSEN)and combined specificity(SSPE)of the elastic modulus parameters of shear wave elastography were as follows: The SSEN of Emax was 0.88[95%CI(0.85,0.91)],SSPE was 0.89[95%CI(0.86,0.92)];The SSEN of Emean was 0.81[95%CI(0.70,0.88)],SSPE was 0.85[95%CI(0.78,0.90)];The SSEN of Eratio is SSEN ? 0.84[95%CI(0.76,0.89)] and SSPE is 0.85[95%CI(0.77,0.91)];The SSEN of Esd is 0.82[95%CI(0.73,0.88)] and SSPE is 0.89[95%CI(0.86,0.95)];The SSEN of Emin is [0.75,95%CI(0.68,0.81)] and SSPE is [0.89,95%CI(0.84,0.92)].The area under the curve of Emax,Emean,Eratio,Esd,Emin combined with the working characteristic curve of the subjects was 0.95,0.90,0.91,0.94 and 0.94 respectively.Conclusion: the elastic modulus parameters of shear wave elastography are helpful for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses,and Emax is the best in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.
