Clinical Study Of ChaiHuShuGan Powder Combined With Citalopram Hydrobromide In The Treatment Of Post Cerebral Infarction Depression

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of ChaiHuShuGan powder combined with citalopram hydrobromide in the treatment of post cerebral infarction depression,and to provide the theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of post cerebral infarction depression.Methods: 80 inpatients with acute post cerebral infarction depression who met the inclusion criteria in neurology department of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine were divided into control group(40 cases)and treatment group(40 cases)by means of random number table.During the observation,5 cases were excluded due to complications or failure to treat as required,and the final cases were control group(37 cases)and treatment group(40 cases)Group 38 cases.The control group was treated with routine western medicine in the acute phase of cerebral infarction,and citalopram hydrobromide was given;the treatment group was treated with routine western medicine in the acute phase of cerebral infarction,and citalopram hydrobromide and ChaiHuShuGan powder were given;the course of treatment was 4weeks.At the end of the treatment,the clinical effects of the two groups were observed,and the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),NIHSS,ADL and TCM Syndromes of apoplexy in the two groups before and 4 weeks after the treatment.Results: 1.Clinical efficacy comparison: after 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.21%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 72.97%.It can be seen that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.HAMD score: there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the HAMD scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving depression.3.NIHSS score: there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the NIHSS scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05);the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in the improvement of neurological defects.4.ADL score: there was no significant difference between the two groups in Barthel index score before treatment(P > 0.05).After4 weeks of treatment,the Barthel index score of the two groups was significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05);the Barthel index of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the ability of daily life.5.TCM syndrome score: there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in TCM syndrome improvement.Conclusion(s): 1.Citalopram hydrobromide alone,or ChaiHuShuGan powder combined with citalopram hydrobromide,has curative effect in the treatment of post cerebral infarction depression.It can improve the depression symptoms of patients with post cerebral infarction depression to varying degrees,promote the recovery of nerve function,improve the ability of daily life self-care,and improve the symptoms of Chinese medicine.2.ChaiHuShuGan powder combined with citalopram hydrobromide has the best effect.
