Objective:To predict the incidence of Osteosarcoma in Yunnan Cancer Center based on the survival status of patients with Osteosarcoma, and to analyze the factors influencing the survival prognosis of patients with Osteosarcoma,to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment work and scientific researchMethods:Data and information of osteosarcoma patients who visited Yunnan cancer center were collected for retrospective analysis from December 2012 to May 2019.Results:Among the 302 patients, the ratio of male compared to female was 2.05:1;the mean age of disease flare up was 21.13±12.25,and the peak age was 10-22 years. The primary sites of osteosarcoma were mostly around the knee joint(42.38%distal femur,27.15%proximal tibia).Patients with osteosarcoma of the limbs are almost pain, swelling as the first symptoms. The top five prevalence rates of osteosarcoma in Yunnan Province were Qujing(8.88/million),Chuxiong(8.57/million),Baoshan(7.98/million),Dali(7.52/million)and Kunming(6.84/million)(P<0.001).The QS for five years was 21.4%,the mean survival time of metastatic patients was 30.6 months(P<0.001),34.3 months(P=0.017)among patients with recurrence, and 22.1 months(P<0.001)among those who were at Enneking stage Ⅲ,51.8 months(P=0.011)among patients with ALP(Alkaline phosphatase)>125U/L,43.2 months(P<0.001)among patients with LDH(Lactate dehydrogenase)>245U/L and 30.1 months(P=0.041)among patients with WBC(White blood cells)>9.5×109/L.Screening possible risk factors entering Cox model were:metastasis, staging, recurrence,ALP,LDH and WBC(α=0.05).Finally,Cox proportional risk model showed that metastasis, tumor diameter greater than 10cm and Enneking stage(Ⅲ)had statistically significant effect on the survival outcomes. This study first identified the effects of Tumor specific growth factor(TSGF),gamma-glutamyl Transferase(GGT),Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin(MCV),and Serum Creatinine(CREA)on the prognosis of osteosarcoma. Conclusion(s):Metastasis of osteosarcoma, maximum tumor diameter≥10cm and Enneking stage(Ⅲ)are risk factors affecting survival and prognosis of patients with osteosarcoma in yunnan province. As a risk factor for increased mortality, metastasis should be further explored to achieve early diagnosis and treatment. In this study,a systematic and relatively stable risk prediction model was constructed, and clinicians could predict the 5-year OS of patients and develop personalized treatment plans based on this evaluation system.
