Objectives:To discuss the clinical value of MedRad P3T personalized injection program software which automatically generate the contrast media injection scheme in CT examination of congenital heart disease by comparing with the conventional contrast medium injection scheme.Methods:Sixty cases of patients who underwent CT scan of congenital heart disease in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2018 were retrospectively collected as the conventional group.The conventional group was divided into two groups:group A and group B.40 patients whoses weight were greater than 39kg were in group A,with an average weight of(62.99±12.53)kg.In group B,the body weight was ?39kg,with a total of 20 cases,and the average body weight was(27.90±11.45)kg.60 cases of patients who underwent CT scan of congenital heart disease from January 2019 to December 2019 were retrospectively collected as the P3T group.40 patients whoses weight were greater than 39kg were in group A,with an average weight of(61.56±12.78)kg.In group B,the body weight was ?39kg,with a total of 20 cases,and the average body weight was(27.50±10.71)kg.The CT scanning protocal of conventional group A and P3T group A were consistent,while those of conventional group B and P3T group B were consistent.The concentrations of contrast media were 370mgl/ml in both the conventional group and the P3T group.In the conventional group,the dosage of contrast media was 1?2ml/kg,and the injection flow rate was of group A was 3.0?5.0ml/s,and group B was 1?3.5ml/s.The P3T group was adopted P3T software to generate the injection scheme which included the contrast dosage and flow rate automatically.The t test was used to compare the objective indexes of image quality of the conventional group A and the P3T group A,the conventional group B and the P3T group B,including the CT values,SD,SNR and CNR of the left atrium,left ventricle,right atrium,right ventricle,aorta,pulmonary artery,pulmonary vein and superior vena cava.Wilcoxon rank-sum test was used to compare the subjective scores of image quality of the conventional group A and the P3T group A,the conventional group B and the P3T group B,including:the artifacts of the superior vena cava and the right atrium,the display effect of the intracardiac structure and the extracardiac structure.All the subjective scores were adopted 5-scale,with 1 score representing lowest and 5 score representing highest.The t test was used to compare the use of contrast agent in conventional group A and P3T group A,conventional group B and P3T group B:dose of contrast agent and injection flow rate of contrast agent.The t test was used to compare the radiation dose of conventional group A and P3T group A,conventional group B and P3T group B:CTDIvol,DLP,EDResults:I.There was no significant difference in gender,age and weight between the conventional group A(>39kg)and the P3T group A(>39kg)(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in gender,age and weight between the conventional group B(weight?39kg)and the P3T group B(weight ?39kg)(P>0.05)2.There was no significant difference in CT value between the conventional group and P3T group(P>,0.05)both in group A and Group B.SD values of right atrial and superior vena cava between the conventional group and the P3T group showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05),the conventional group>the P3T group both in group A and Group B.3.There were statistically significant differences SNR and CNR of right atrial and superior vena cava between the conventional group and the P3T group(P<0.05),the conventional group<the P3T group both in group A and Group B.4.There was statistically significant differences in the artifact scores of superior vena cava and right atrium between the conventional group and the P3T group(P<0.05),the conventional group>the P3T group both in group A and Group B.There was no significant difference between the scores of intracardiac structure and extracardiac structure between the conventional group and the P3T group(P>0.05)both in group A and Group B5.There was statistical difference in the amount of contrast media between the conventional group and the P3T group(P<0.05),the conventional group>the P3T group both in group A and Group B.There was no significant difference in the injection flow rate between the conventional group and the P3T group both in groups A and B(P>0.05).6.There was no significant difference in CTDIvol,DLP or ED between the conventional group and the P3T group both in group A and Group B(P>0.05).Conclusion:MedRad P3T personalized injection program can reduce the artifact of superior vena cava and right atrium and improve the image quality in patients with clinical suspicion of congenital heart disease undergoing cardiac CT examination.At the same time,it can effectively reduce the dosage of contrast agent and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions of contrast agent,which is feasible in the CT examination of congenital heart disease.
