Objective To explore the characteristics of esophageal motility d isorder and anxiety depression score in patients with gastr oesophageal reflux disease, and the correlation between them. Methods Patients who met the criteria for gastroesophageal refl ux disease diagnosed in our hospital from November 2018 to November 2019 were selected.According to the clinical manif estations and gastroscopy results, the patients were divide into Barrett's esophagus, reflux esophagitis and non-erosi ve gastroesophageal reflux disease. There were 50 cases of B arrett's esophagus,50 cases of reflux esophagitis, and 44 ca ses of non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease.42 cases with normal physical examination were collected from our h ospital,186 cases in total.Esophageal manometry and anxie ty and depression scores of all subjects were investigat ed.The clinical data of the patients were analyzed. The diff erences of esophageal motility, anxiety and depression score s in the four groups were analyzed, and the correlation betw een esophageal motility and anxiety and depression in the f our groups were analyzed.Results1.There was no significant difference in the dis tribution of the main symptoms of GERD in each group.By Chi-square test, there was no statistical difference,c2=4.47,P>0.05.2.The relationship between the course of GERD and anxiety and depression was compared, and the comparison of anxiety and depression score in each course group was statistically significant(P<0.05).After pairwise comparison,it was found that there was significant differences in anxi ety scores in each course group(P<0.05).The pairwise compar ison of depression scores in each course group showed that there was no significant difference between the(2,3] year group and the> 3 year group,P> 0.05,and there were a signi ficant difference between the other 5 pairs,P <0.05.3.The results of esophageal motility test and anxiety a nd depression scores of the four groups were compared. There was no significant difference in peristaltic pressure of t he proximal esophagus(P>0.05).There were significant diffe rences in LESP,peristalsis pressure in the distal esophagu s,peristalsis wave velocity, anxiety score and depression s core(P<0.05).LESP,peristaltic pressure of the distal esoph agus, the velocity of peristaltic wave, anxiety score and dep ression score were compared between the four groups. It was found that there were significant differences between the n ormal group and Barrett's esophagus, reflux esophagitis and non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease(P < 0.05).However,there were no statistical difference in pairwise compar ison of the other three groups except the normal group(P > 0.05).4.The correlation between esophageal motility and anxie ty and depression scores in the four groups were analyzed.I n Barrett's esophagus, there was a significant negative corr elation between anxiety score and peristaltic pressure in t he proximal esophagus,r=-0.349,P=0.013,and the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.In patients with refl ux esophagitis, there was a significant negative correlation between depression score and esophageal peristaltic wave p ropulsion speed,r=-0.3,P=0.034,the difference was statisti cally significant,P<0.05.Conclusions 1.The main symptoms of patients with gastroesophageal r eflux disease are nonspecific. The longer the course of dise ase,the more likely anxiety;in 3 years, the longer the cour se of disease, the more likely depression.2.Esophageal motility decrease in GERD patients with anxiety and depression.3.In patients with Barrett's esophagus and anxiety and depression, esophageal motility are mostly manifested by red uced peristaltic pressure in the proximal esophagus. In pati ents with reflux esophagus and anxiety and depression, theesophageal motility are mostly manifested by the slowing do wn of the esophageal peristaltic wave.
