Objective:In order to reduce the huge disease burden caused by depression, there are usually two methods, one is to treat existing diseases, and the other is to prevent the occurrence of new cases. However,to date, most studies have focused on the treatment of existing cases, and few studies have focused on the prevention of depression.Compare three different training methods?1?positive attention development,?2?attention bias modification and?3?attention control training effect on preventing the onset of depressionMethods:Through the two-stage interview,68 participants were screened from 6884 college students who did not meet the diagnosis of depressive disorder and other mental disorders, but had persistent depressive symptoms?ie,BDI-II>13 points for 2 months?.They were randomly assigned to four conditions:positive attention development group?PAD,n=17?,attention bias modification group?ABM,n=17?,attention control training group?ACT,n=17?and placebo group?n=17?.The initial training consisted of four groups of subjects who completed 8times of training?once every two days?in 2 weeks, and 4 times of intensive training?once every four days?in 2 weeks in the 16th week of the initial training.Depression-related symptoms, attentional bias and interview evaluation were completed before and after the end of each phase, and the follow-up time was 1 year.Results:?1?prevalence rate of depressive disorder:at the 12th month of follow-up,the differences among the four groups were significant?2=13.87,p=0.03<0.05;Further analysis found that the prevalence of depression in PAD and ACT was significantly lower than that in placebo group?p=0.02?.There was significant difference in cumulative prevalence among the four groups,Log-rank p=0.008.?2?Clinical significance:significant difference among the four groups?2=10.90,p=0.01;Compared with placebo group, the BDI-II score of PAD was significantly lower??2=4.91,p=0.03?.?3?Attention Bias:An approaching significance of main effect of Condition for trial-level bias score(TL-BS toward)and trial-level bias score(TL-BS away)sad?F?3,61-73?=2.54-2.59,p=.059-.064?.Conclusions:Compared with the placebo group,PAD and ACT significantly reduced the incidence of depressive disorders.PAD training is better than other training methods in reducing subjects'self-rating depression scores.
