| Objective:to study the clinical efficacy of Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction in the treatment of insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency type.Methods: a total of 90 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups,30 patients in each group,which were the treatment group(Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction treatment),the traditional Chinese medicine control group(simple Guipi decoction treatment)and the acupuncture control group(single Proximal Needling Ashi Point treatment).The course of treatment lasted for14 days.Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and TCM syndrome scale were measured and scored on the day before and the day end of treatment.Results:1.PSQI scores of three groupsCompared with the control group before and after PSQI treatment,the results of sleep time of acupuncture group were not dramatically significant(P >,0.05),indicating that acupuncture alone had a poor effect on alleviating sleep disorders.The reduction of scores in each group of other items was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05).No hypnotic drugs were used in this study design,so there was no statistical difference in the score of hypnotic drugs(P > 0.05).In the comparison among the three groups after treatment,all the scores(except for the hypnotic drugs)were very significant statistical difference(P < 0.01),and the treatment group showed the most significant decrease in the scores of sleep quality,sleep time,sleep efficiency and daytime dysfunction after treatment.2.HAMD scores of three groupsBefore and after treatment,the reduction of total HAMD scores in the three groups was extremely significant compared with that before treatment(P < 0.01).After treatment,there was a very significant statistical differenceamong the three groups of HAMD(P < 0.01),a very significant statistical difference between the treatment group and the TCM control group(P < 0.01),and a significant statistical difference between the treatment group and the acupuncture control group(P < 0.05).3.Scoring results of TCM syndrome scale of three groupsBefore and after treatment,there was significant statistical significance in the reduction of TCM syndrome score in the three groups compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment,there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the TCM control group in the aspect of multiple dreams and easy awakening(P < 0.01).In terms of emotional depression,there was significant statistical significance between the experimental group and the two control groups(P < 0.05).In terms of palpitations and dizziness and fatigue,there was significant statistical significance between the experimental group and the two control groups(P <0.01).4.The total clinical effective rate of Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction in the treatment of insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency type was 96.67%,which was significantly different from that of the two control groups(P < 0.01).Conclusion:1.Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction has a significant effect on the treatment of insomnia with heart and spleen deficiency,which can shorten the time for patients to fall asleep,optimize sleep quality,extend sleep time,improve sleep efficiency,regulate sleep disorders and improve daytime function.2.Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction can significantly improve the depressed mood of insomnia patients with heart and spleen deficiency,and significantly improve the patients’ interest in life and work.3.Proximal Needling Ashi Point combined with Guipi decoction cansignificantly improve the TCM syndromes of insomnia patients with deficiency of heart and spleen,making the patients’ palpitations,dizziness and fatigue disappear and the quality of life significantly improved. |
