The Relationship Between Autonomic Nerve System And Uterus Mobility Involved With Acupuncture

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of acupuncture in different spinal cord segments on uterine mobility and the effects of acupuncture on the nerve innervated uterus.We try to explain the relationship between autonomic nerve system and uterus mobility involved with acupuncture through animal experiments,provide a new reference for clinical acupuncture point selection.MethodsWe applied healthy adult female SD rat as the research object,200 ± 20 g,used immunostaining and electrophysiological recording of the uterus technique.This research is divided into three parts: Experiment 1: To confirm the nerve innervated the uterus: Eighteen healthy adult female SD rats were randomly divided into a control group(n = 6)and a model group(n = 12).After modeling,to observe the distribution of Evans blue exudation points on the body surface of the rats.Experiment 2: To observe the morphological changes of rat uterus after acute uterine inflammation model: 10 healthy adult female SD rats were randomly divided into control group(n = 4)and model group(n = 6),to observe the pathological changes of uterine morphology after modeling.Experiment 3: To explore the relationship between autonomic nerve system and uterus mobility involved with Acupuncture.10 healthy adult female SD rats.the effect of acupuncture on uterine mobility was observed,sympathetic and parasympathetic antagonists were injected through the tail vein to observe the effects of autonomic nerve in uterine mobility.Results Experiment 1: The distribution of sensitization points caused by acute uterine inflammation After modeling,the EB exudation points were observed in the body surface which is the same and near spinal cord segments to the uterus(T11-L2,S2-S4),while there were almost no EB exudation point in the control group.Experiment 2: Morphological and pathological changes of uterus after acute uterine inflammation modelAfter modeling,pathological changes such as shedding and damage,edema,and inflammatory cell infiltration occurred in the endometrium of rats.The uterines of the control group were intact,and no pathological changes were seen.Experiment 3: The relationship between autonomic nerve system and uterus mobility involved with acupunctureAcupuncture the Huiyin?Taichong,?Xuehai and Zigong point can promote uterine contraction and uterine smooth muscle electromyography,but the Neiguan point has no obvious effect;Both sympathetic blocker phentolamine and parasympathetic atropine can inhibit uterine movement,while atropine's inhibitory effect is more obvious,and acupuncture has no further regulating effect.ConclusionSensitization points(EB exudation point)on the skin induced by acute uterine inflammation which is the same or proximal segment of uterus,acupoints located in these sensitized areas can more obviously promote the uterine motor function,the parasympathetic blocker atropine can significantly inhibit the regulatory effects of acupuncture.
