Objective To study the incidence and influencing factors of iatrogenic preterm labor in Shengjing hospital.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted in our hospital in 1692 twin patients to analyses the incidence of iatrogenic preterm birth and its influencing factors.Results Among the 1692 twin cases,493 cases were iatrogenic preterm birth,and,the incidence of iatrogenic preterm birth in twins was 29.1%,and,the proportion in preterm birth was 42.5%.The results of the analysis showed severe pre-eclampsia,chorionicity,chromosomal examination,and the degree of education wereindependent risk factors for iatrogenic preterm birth,whereas,fetal treatment would reduce the incidence of iatrogenic preterm birth.Conclusion Early detection of chorionicity and closely monitor during pregnancy are essential for reducing iatrogenic preterm birth in twins.Active prevention and treatment of pre-eclampsia can reduce the incidence of twin prenatal gestational preterm labor.if necessary,fetal treatment can effectively reduce the occurrence of iatrogenic preterm birth...
