Objective: To investigate the feasibility and diagnostic efficacy of the fat fraction FF value of the magnetic resonance IDEAL-IQ sequence and Ki67 gene expression level in the differential diagnosis of fatty soft tissue tumors of the extremities.Research methods: Twenty-nine patients who had been diagnosed as fatty soft tissue tumors of the extremities by postoperative pathology during the First Affiliated Hospital of Chinese Medical University from March 2018 to November 2019.All patients underwent routine MRI examinations of the extremities and IDEAL-IQ sequence examinations before surgery.Drew the appropriate ROI on the AW4.7 workstation,and obtained the FF value of the tumor.There were 13 cases in benign tumor group,7 cases in intermediate tumor group,and 9 cases in malignant tumor group.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used to analyze the FF value and Ki67 gene expression in each group,P <0.05 considered the difference to be statistically significant.Spearman correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between Ki67 gene expression and FF value in adipocytic soft tissue tumors of the extremities.Results:1.The FF values of fatty soft tissue tumors of the extremities in different nature groups are different,(74.45 ± 17.05)% in benign tumor group,(47.41 ± 16.72)% in intermediate tumor group,and(10.08 ± 5.75)in malignant tumor group.The differences of FF values among the three groups were statistically significant(P <0.05).2.The expression levels of Ki67 gene were tested by Chi square test,and the differences were considered statistically significant(P <0.05).3.The correlation between Ki67 gene expression intensity and FF value of patients with fatty soft tissue tumors of the extremities was tested by Spearman correlation analysis,showed a negative correlation and statistical significance(r =-0.935,P <0.05).Conclusion: The magnetic resonance IDEAL-IQ sequence can accurately quantify the differences between different grades of fatty soft tissue tumors,and has a significant correlation with the expression intensity of Ki67 gene.It has certain diagostic power.Therefore,IDEAL-IQ sequence has certain feasibility for the qualitative diagnosis of fatty soft tissue tumors of the extremities.
