Obiective Standardized general practice residency training(SGPRT)is of great significance to the establishment of a sufficient number of qualified community health talents. However,in the actual training process, trainees have heavy learning tasks, long working hours, high economic pressure, and unsatisfactory career prospects. Moreover the particularity of the current medical industry and the tension between doctors and patients are prone to causing the general practitioners’ job burnout as well.In this study, the current situation of general resident burnout was investigated through questionnaire survey, the influencing factors of student burnout were discussed, and the relevant and practicable mitigating countermeasures were put forward based on the results of the influencing factors,so as to improve the general resident management, build a promising general practitioners’ team and improve the overall level of general practitioners. Methods A survey was conducted among 682 trainees from 13 national SGPRT sites in 13 cities respectively, and 604 valid questionnaires were collected and screened. The questionnaire was a self-made questionnaire on Job Burnout of SGPRT Trainees, which included three parts: social demographic information, job burnout scale and factors causing job burnout. The survey data was established through Excel2017,and SPSS 22.0 software was used for descriptive statistical analysis,single-factor variance analysis, multivariate linear regression analysis, and exploratory factor analysis.AMOS 24.0 software was used for validation factoranalysis. The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Results(1)The structure and reliability of job burnout influencing factors questionnaire:With the exploratory factor analysis, the occupational burnout influencing factors questionnaire for trainees had 17 items, and 4 common factors were obtained after the rotation of the factor load Matrix. The influencing factors of general practitioners’ job burnout include subject factor, social factor, personal factor and career expectation. The confirmatory factor analysis was used to verify that all the test indexes were basically up to standard, indicating that the quality of the model was good and that the questionnaire had good combination reliability, aggregation validity and discrimination validity.(2)Overview of job burnout: the scores of three dimensions of job burnout, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and low personal achievement, were respectively(15.34±7.02),(9.17±6.36),and(13.61±8.12).The detection rate of mild job burnout was 27.3%,the moderate job burnout rate was 21.5%,and severe job burnout rate was 7.5%.(3)One way ANOVA of social demography characteristics on the scores of various dimensions of job burnout: the scores of income level, sleep duration, and physical exercise times in the emotional exhaustion dimension were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the scores of sense of belonging, the year of participation in residential training, qualification of practicing physician, income level, sleep duration, and physical exercise times in depersonalization were statistically significant(P <0.05);the scores of gender, identity, work signing unit, and the number of physical exercises in the dimension of low personal achievement were statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference in the scores of age, marital status and the degree of education in the three dimensions of job burnout.(4)The results of multivariate linear regression analysis: The times of physical exercises and the duration of sleep were the factors influencing the emotional depletion of general resident students(P < 0.05);The times of physical exercises, the duration of sleep, the year of participation in residential training, the income level and the degree of education are the factors that affect the individualization of general residential training students(P < 0.05);sense of belonging, gender and the times of physical exercises are the factors that influence the diminished personal achievement of trainees(P < 0.05).Conclusions(1)The influencing factors of general practitioners’ job burnout include subject factors, social factors, personal factors and career expectations, among which the influencing index of career expectation ranks the first, followed by social factors, discipline factors and personal factors successively.(2)The current situation of SGPRT trainees job burnout is serious.(3)There are group differences in job burnout among SGPRT trainees.Gender, identity, sense of belonging, the year of participation in residential training, contract company, qualification of practicing physician, income level, sleep duration and physical exercise times have influences on single dimension or multiple dimensions of job burnout.
