Objective: To compare and analyze the efficacy of cytoreductive radical prostatectomy(CRP)combined with androgen deprivation therapy(ADT)and androgen deprivation therapy alone on oligometastatic prostate cancer(OMPC).Methods:We search about the comparative studies on cytoreductive radical prostatectomy(CRP)combined with androgen deprivation therapy(ADT)and androgen deprivation therapy alone for oligometastatic prostate cancer(OMPC)from the databases of Pub Med,Cochrane Library,Clinical Trials,Embase,CNKI,VIP and Wanfang. After further screening and quality evaluation of the literature, finally the Rev Man5.3 software recommended by the Cochrane Collaboration was used for statistical analysis. Results: A total of 8 studies were included, involving a total of 468 patients, and a meta-analysis of each outcome index was performed with the following results:1.The 3-year progression-free survival(PFS)of combined surgery group's patients is higher than ADT group's [OR=2.55,95% CI(1.57,4.13),P<0.001].2.The 3-year Castration-resistant-free survival of combined surgery group's patients is higher than ADT group's [OR=2.36,95% CI(1.44,3.89),P<0.001].3.The 3-year cancer specific survival(CSS)of combined surgery group's patients is higher than ADT group's [OR=2.76,95% CI(1.34,5.66),P=0.006].4.There was no significant difference in 3-year overall survival(OS)between the two groups of patients [OR=2.14,95% CI(0.97,4.73),P=0.06].Conclusions:Compared with traditional androgen deprivation therapy, the surgical treatment of primary tumor can significantly improve the short-term CSS and inhibit the progression of cancer in patients with oligometastatic prostate cancer, but it cannot significantly improve the short-term OS of patients.
