| Objectives1.To explore the influence of traditional Chinese medicine five-tone therapy on anxiety and depression in patients with diabetic retinopathy during perioperative period.2.To compare the effects of traditional Chinese medicine five-tone therapy based on physique identification and traditional Chinese medicine five-tone therapy alone on anxiety and depression in patients with diabetic retinopathy during perioperative period.MethodsThis study is a clinical trial stuay using a randomized controlled approach.A total of 114 patients with perioperative diabetic retinopathy who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method, the study subjects were divided into two groups, including 57 patients in the experimental group and 57 patients in the control group. The control group was treated with simple five-tone therapy, and the intervention group was treated with individualized five-tone therapy under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine physique identification. The first day of the two groups of patients in the perioperative use General information questionnaire,Traditional chinese medicine constitution Scale,Anxiety self-rating scale and Self-rating depression scale to get to know the basic situation and evaluate the level of anxiety and depression. The last day of the two groups of patients in the perioperative use Anxiety self-rating scale and Self-rating depression scale to evaluate the level of anxiety and depression. The levels of anxiety and depression before and after the perioperative period were compared.ResultsA total of 113 patients completed the intervention in this study, including 56 patients in the experimental group and 57 patients in the control group. Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in general information, scores of anxiety and depression between the experimental group and the control group, and the data were comparable(P>0.05).After the five-tone therapy was applied to diabetic retinopathy patients, the experimental group had 42.31 ± 3.444 anxiety scores,46.12 ± 2.677 depression scores,54.02 ± 2.740 anxiety scores and52.86 ± 2.213 depression scores before the intervention;the control group had42.84 ± 4.259 anxiety scores,46.46 ± 3.268 depression scores,53.53 ± 2.747 anxiety scores and 53.48 ± 3.326 depression scores before the intervention. The differences of anxiety and depression scores between the two groups before and after intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison of anxiety scores, depression scores, discharge efficacy and visual acuity recovery between the two groups showed that there were statistically significant differences in anxiety scores, discharge efficacy and visual acuity recovery between the two groups(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in depression scores between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions1.Traditional Chinese medicine five-tone therapy can reduce the level of anxiety and depression in patients with diabetic retinopathy during perioperative period.2.Pentatonic therapy based on body recognition is more effective than pentatonic therapy in reducing perioperative anxiety in patients with diabetic retinopathy.3.Compared with the five-tone therapy alone, the five-tone therapy based on physique identification can promote the restoration of vision.4.In clinic, according to the patient’s physique, the patient can be given personalized pentatonic music to further improve the anxiety level in perioperative period and improve the quality of nursing care. |
