Objective: To evaluate the left atrial function of patients with cardiac amyloidosis by speckle tracking echocardiography(STE),and explore the changes of left atrial function in patients with cardiac amyloidosis and whether the changes of left atrial function may enhance diagnostic differentiation of CA from other cardiomyopathies. Methods:The study enrolled 16 patients with CA,16 patients with HCM and 16 healthy volunteer.Collect the necessary information of each patient, and the parameters of left ventricular function were recorded by conventional echocardiography; The time-dependent strain parameters(LASr,LAScd,LASdt)and strain rate parameters(m-SRs,m-SRe,m-SRa)of left atrial reserve function, conduit function and pump function were measured by STE in three groups respectively.Results:1.Compared with the control group, the general situation of CA Group and HCM group has no statistical significance.2.Compared with the control group,LVEDV / BSA,LVESV / BSA,A and GLS of the left ventricle in the CA group were significantly reduced, and heart rate,IVSd,IVPWd,E,E / A and E / e 'were significantly higher than healthy volunteer.3.Compared with the control group, the left atrial reserve(LASr,m-SRs),conduit(LAScd,m-SRe)and pump function(lasdt,m-sra)of CA group were significantly reduced(P < 0.05),and compared with HCM group, the left atrial reserve and pump function of CA group were significantly reduced.4.In CA Group, the left atrial reserve function(LASr,m-SRs),conduit function(lascd,m-sre)and pump function(LASct,m-SRa)were all related to left ventricular GLS and E / E '.Conclusion: The reserve function, conduit function and pump function of left atrial in CA group decreased significantly. When compared with HCM group, the reserve function and pump function of left atrial in CA group were reduced. |
