Objective:To detect the level of serum thrombopoietin?TPO?in patients with chronic liver damage, and to explore the relationship among liver damage, the changes of thrombopoietin concentration and the count of platelet?PLT?in peripheral blood,so as to provide basis for clinical treatment. Methods:A total of 100 patients with chronic liver damage treated in the Department of Gastroenterology and Department of infection of the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from June to August 2019 were collected as the experimental group,and30 healthy persons during the same period as the control group. The sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay?ELISA?was used to detect the level of serum thrombopoietin in patients with chronic liver damage and healthy controls. At the same time, the number of platelets in blood, liver function, coagulation function, autoimmune liver disease, viral hepatitis and other related laboratory indexes were detected, and to improve abdominal imaging examination?for liver function classification?.The samples of the experimental group were divided into groups according to whether they were complicated with thrombocytopenia, and the differences of PLT and TPO between the chronic liver damage group and the control group were compared;comparing the differences of TPO concentration among the chronic liver damage with thrombocytopenia group, the chronic liver damage without thrombocytopenia group and the control group;according to the type of liver damage, the levels of PLT and TPO in patients with different causes of liver damage were compared, and the correlation between the decrease of PLT and the level of TPO in patients with chronic liver damage was analyzed by statistical method to explore the relationship between thrombocytopenia and thrombopoietin in patients with chronic liver damage.Results:1.There is a difference in PLT count between patients with chronic liver damage and healthy controls, and the platelet count in the control group was significantly higher than that in the chronic liver damage group??=-5.943,P<0.05?.2.There is no significant difference in TPO concentration between patients with chronic liver damage and healthy controls??=-0.097,P=0.923>0.05?.3.There is no significant difference in TPO levels among chronic liver damage with thrombocytopenia, chronic liver damage without thrombocytopenia and control group(?2=0.577,P=0.749>0.05).4.There is no significant difference in platelet count between viral hepatitis and autoimmune liver disease??=-0.752,P=0.452>0.05?.5.There is no significant difference in TPO concentration between viral hepatitis and autoimmune liver disease??=-1.062,P=0.288>0.05?.6.There is no linear correlation between the degree of thrombocytopenia and the level of TPO in patients with chronic liver damage. Conclusion:Patients with chronic liver damage are prone to be complicated with thrombocytopenia, and liver damage is related to thrombocytopenia. There is no difference in PLT count and TPO level between viral hepatitis and autoimmune liver disease. There is no linear correlation between the degree of thrombocytopenia and the level of TPO in patients with chronic liver damage.TPO may not be the main cause of chronic liver damage with thrombocytopenia. The main cause of liver damage with thrombocytopenia needs to be further discussed.
