The pre-operative signature system is an important measure to protect the right of informed consent of patients and their families.By signing the operation,patients and their families can fully understand the patient's condition and related key operations information,including surgical risk,postoperative complications,and alternatives when there are risks during the operation Therefore,the signing of the operation consent has also received the attention of the hospital.Meanwhile,it is also one of the important ways for the hospital to fulfill its duty of informing the patients and their families to understand the condition of the disease.At present,our laws and regulations have certain provisions on pre-operative signature system,protection of patients 'right of informed consent,and the obligation to inform of hospitals,which provide certain guidance for the development of doctor-patient relationship in our country,but these provisions are not perfect and sound.Based on the background of Pregnant Women's Jumping Event in Yulin,from the perspective of the legal issues reflected in the event,this paper firstly introduces the process of Yulin Pregnant Women's Jumping Event and the legal issues related to preoperative signature reflected in the event;secondly,it introduces the relevant theories of preoperative signature subject,patient's right to informed consent,hospital's obligation to inform before operation and special intervention right in emergencies.Finally,analyzes the problems and deficiencies in the implementation of the legal issues related to preoperative signature in China,as well as on the basis of drawing lessons from the relevant foreign legislation,putting forward some suggestions on legislative improvement of the system of preoperative signature,so as to promote the harmonious development of the doctor-patient relationship in China.
