| Objective:By observing the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Xiao Chaihu Decoction based on the theory of "Taking Shaoyang as the Pivot" for treating cervicogenic headache,it provided a basis for the theory of "Taking Shaoyang as the Pivot" for the treatment of cervicogenic headache.Method:From December 2018 to November 2019,96 patients with cervicogenic headache who met the requirements of the Second Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Affiliated People’s Hospital of Fujian University of Chinese Medicine were selected.According to the random number table method, they were divided into experiment group and control group, with 48 cases in each group. The experiment group was treated with acupuncture combined with Xiao Chaihu Decoction, and the control group was treated with acupuncture.Acupuncture treatment points were divided into fixed selection points and touch methods with matching points.Fixed points included Wángǔ GB12,Lúxī TE19,and FēngchíGB20.The matching points were the fascial nodes at the hand-foot Shaoyang meridian circulation site.Acupuncture was performed once a week for a total of 2 weeks. In the experiment group,Xiao Chaihu Decoction was taken orally on the basis of acupuncture, one dose per day for 2 weeks.Follow-up for 3 months after treatment, recorded VAS scores before treatment,1 week and 3 months after treatment;d-value of cervical physiological curvature before treatment and 1 week after treatment;before treatment and 1 week after treatment NDI index.SPSS21.0 software package was used to enter and process related data.Result:1.The VAS scores in the two groups of patients before and 1 week after treatment were compared, and the P-values were all less than 0.01.The VAS scores were compared between the two groups 1 week after treatment,P <0.01.The two groups were compared within the group with VAS scores before and 3 months after the end of treatment,P<0.01.Compared VAS scores between the two groups at 3 months after treatment,P<0.01.It suggested that the two groups of treatment methods have significant effects in alleviating subjective pain of patients with cervicogenic headache, and the long-term effect was good, and the experiment group was significantly better than the control group.2.Compared cervical physiological curvature d-values between the two groups before treatment and 1 week after treatment,P-values were all less than 0.01.The d-value of cervical physiological curvature between the two groups after 1 week was compared between groups,P>0.05.It was suggested that the two groups of treatment methods have a significant effect in improving cervical physiological curvature of patients with cervicogenic headache, and there was no significant difference in the efficacy between the experiment group and the control group.3.The comparison of the NDI index between the two groups of patients before treatment and1 week after treatment,P<0.01.The comparison of the NDI index between the two groups at one week after treatment was P<0.05.It suggested that the two groups of treatment methods have significant effects on improving cervical function in patients with cervicogenic headache, and the experiment group is better than the control group.4.8 cases were cured in the experiment group,23 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 87.50%,3 cases were cured in the control group,14 cases were markedly effective,21 cases were effective,10 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 79.17%.Comparison of the overall efficacy evaluation between the two groups after treatment, the overall efficacy of the experiment group was better than that of the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Xiao Chaihu Decoction for the treatment of cervicogenic headache based on the theory of "Taking Shaoyang as the Pivot" was better than acupuncture, and it is better for analgesia and improvement of cervical spine function. |
