Analysis Of The Research Progress Of Cephalic Vein Stenosis

The prerequisite for hemodialysis is that the patients have a good vascular access function.In patients with brachial artery-cephalic vein internal fistula in the upper arm,if there is cephalic venous arch stenosis(CAS),it will lead to the dysfunction of the internal fistula,thus affecting the efficiency of hemodialysis.Due to the particularity of the position of the cephalic vein arch compared with other superficial veins,there is no clear mechanism for the occurrence and development of CAS,so there are not many effective clinical treatment measures.The commonly used methods include percutaneous balloon angioplasty(PTA),intravascular stent implantation,open surgery,and traditional Chinese medicine treatment.This paper describes the mechanism of CAS and the progress of treatment.
