| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion of Wenyangzhike prescription at the quiescence period treatment of pediatric cough variant asthma.Methods:From January 2019 to January 2020,it were collected 68 children who received treatment in the department of acupuncture and pediatric outpatient department of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,who met the inclusion criteria.According to the principle of randomized control,the children were divided into control group(34 cases)and experimental group(34 cases).The control group was treated with Montelukast Sodium alone(Usage and Dosage: Once a night,each one,per os before sleep for 28 days).The treatment group was given with acupuncture and moxibustion of Wenyangzhike prescription.Acupuncture prescription by the smell of Taixi,Zusanli,Dazhui,Feishu and Lieque,once a day,5 times a week with 2 days rest,10 times a course of treatment,2 courses of treatment,a total of 4 weeks.Before and after 2 courses of treatment,it were observed by the serum total immunoglobulin IgE Level,TCM Syndrome Score of the two groups.At 6 months after the end of treatment,the patients were followed up for disease recurrenceand and all data were collected and sorted out.The collected data were statistically analyzed by using SPSS 23.0 for windows statistical software.Results:A total of 68 children were included in this study,of which 60 children completed clinical observation.4 cases were lost in the experimental group and 4 cases in the control group,with a total loss rate of 11.76%.1.Overall clinical efficacy analysis: the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 86.67%,and that of the control group was 73.33%.The overall clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).2.Analysis of serum total immunoglobulin E level: after 2 courses of treatment,the comparison between the two groups indicated that the serum total IgE level of the experimental group and the control group was reduced(P < 0.05).The comparison between the two groups indicated that the experimental group was superior to the control group in sensitization degree(P < 0.05).3.Integral analysis of symptoms and signs of all TCM syndromes: after 2 courses of treatment,the comparison between the two groups showed that the experimental group could improve the syndromes such as reactivation,spontaneous sweating,chills,fatigue,and excessive nocturnal urine in children(P < 0.05),while the control group could improve the symptoms of reactivation(P < 0.05),with no obvious improvement effect on the remaining TCM syndromes(P > 0.05).The comparison between the two groups indicated that the application of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment with Wenyangzhike prescription could improve the children’s symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,such as hyperhidrosis,spontaneous sweating,chasm,fatigue,nocturia,etc.In addition to improving hyperhidrosis,the treatment with montelukostat showed no significant improvement in the remaining syndromes(P < 0.05).4.Analysis of disease recurrence 6 months after the end of the test: after the end of thetest,there were 2 cases in the test group and 8 cases in the control group,indicating that the test group had more advantages than the control group in preventing the recurrence of pediatric cough variant asthma(P < 0.05).Conclusion:By acupuncture and moxibustion of Wenyangzhike prescription at the quiescence period treatment of pediatric cough variant asthma,it can be improved the sensitization status of children by lowering serum total Ige level.In addition,it can improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,such as hyperhidrosis,spontaneous sweating,chasm,fatigue,nocturia,etc,and improve the manifestations of physical deficiency of children with CVA in a targeted way,so as to cure the disease and prevent disease recurrence. |
