Clinical Observation Of Massage Combined With Acupoint Application In Treating Acute Mesenteric Lymphadenitis(Abdominal Pain-Qi Stagnation Type)

Objective:By observing the effect of massage combined with acupoint application on improving the clinical symptoms and the maximal mesenteric lymph node size of acutemesenteric lymphadenitis(abdominal pain-qi stagnation type),it provides more traditional Chinese medicine treatment for acute mesenteric lymphadenitis(abdominal pain-qi stagnation type).Method:40 patients who complied with the diagnostic criteria of acute mesenteric lymphadenitis(abdominal pain-qi stagnation type)in the pediatric outpatient department of Ningde Chinese Medicine Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to December 2019 were selected.Used a selfcontrast study method,all patients were treated with massage combined with acupoint application for 7 days,and recorded the scores of the main symptoms(abdominal pain,abdominal tenderness),the scores of the secondary symptoms(loss of appetite,bloating,nausea and vomit,constipation,diarrhea),and the maximal mesenteric lymph nodes size(long axis,short axis,ratio of the two)and overall efficacy.Used SPSS24.0 statistical software for statistical analysis and draw conclusions.Results:(1)A total of 40 patients were included in this trial,of which 1 patient shed.A total of 39 patients completed this trial.Among them,most patients were under 7 years old,and there were more boys than girls,the shed rate was 2.5%.(2)In this trial,22 cases were cured,11 cases were markedly effective,3 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 92.31%,and there was no obvious correlation between the efficacy and age(P>0.05).(3)The difference between the scores of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and total score of TCM before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the patient’s abdominal pain,abdominal tenderness,bloating,loss of appetite,nausea and vomit,and irregular stool symptoms could be effectively alleviated or eliminated.(4)The difference between the long axis and short axis and the ratio of the two of the maximal mesenteric lymph node size before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)During treatment,2 patients developed skin allergies at the application site,and the incidence of adverse events was 5.13%.Conclusions:(1)Massage combined with acupoint application of Pingfu San has a good clinical effect on acute mesenteric lymphadenitis(abdominal pain-qi stagnation type).(2)Massage combined with acupoint application of Pingfu San can effectively improve abdominal pain,abdominal tenderness,loss of appetite,abdominal distension,nausea and vomit and irregular stool.(3)Massage combined with acupoint application of Pingfu San can effectively reduce enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes.(4)Treating acute mesenteric lymphadenitis with massage combined with acupoint application of Pingfu San has few adverse reactions and high patient compliance,which is suitable for clinical application.
