Objective: To analyze the possible influence of different skull fixation materials used in the first operation on the reoperation,so as to provide reference for the subsequent clinical work(this paper discusses that the skull locking ligaments are all non-absorbable materials). Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on 13 patients in our department who needed the original approach for the second operation between May 2012 and August 2019.Results: Among the 13 patients this time, the first operation was performed with splices in 9 cases and cranial locks in 4 cases. The second operation of the patients with cranial locks was more difficult and time-consuming than the ligands, which had a relatively large impact on the intracranial.Lock and connect piece, its each have advantage and disadvantage. However,in the case of patients who need the original approach for reoperation, such as recurrent intracranial tumors,it is recommended to use ligation tablets first,so as to avoid avoidable injuries caused by the recurrence of lesions and the original approach. Conclusion: skull fixation system after craniotomy usually usescraniocerebral lock and connectors, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. However,in the case of recurrent intracranial tumor may need to be operated again, the use of connectors is recommended first to prevent the recurrence of the lesion from causing avoidable damage when the original approach is required.
