Objective To explore a stable and accurate method of measuring orbital volume based on CBCT and three-dimensional digital technology. It can help provide early diagnosis, grasp the opportunity of operation and evaluate the prognosis for patients with traumatic enophthalmos caused by orbital fracture,so as to improve the safety and accuracy of operation.Methods(1)7 skull specimens were collected, and the data of bilateral orbital volume were measured by CBCT based semi-automatic measurement method and medium perfusion method respectively;(2)The measurement of bilateral orbital volume was completed by semi-automatic measurement method, and the measurement results were analyzed by variance analysis to verify the repeatability of the method.(3)T-test the results of the semi-automatic measurement of orbital volume and the results of the medium perfusion method to confirm whether there is statistical difference between the two methods,so as to verify whether the CBCT semi-automatic measurement of orbital volume is accurate.Results(1)The results of three measurements of 7 skulls were analyzed by two-way classification ANOVA based on CBCT.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the three repeated measurements(P > 0.05).(2)The orbital volume of 7skulls measured directly was consistent with that measured by CBCT,which shows that there is no significant difference between the two methods(P > 0.05).Conclusion By using the image processing software of mimics20.0 and 3-maticreseach 12.0,the method of measuring orbital volume by CBCT based semi-automatic orbital measurement method has high accuracy and accuracy, which can provide reference for early diagnosis, operation timing and prognosis evaluation in clinical work.
