This thesis consists of three chapters.In chapter 1,the chemical components of Elaeagnus plants and their activities were summarized.In chapter 2,the chemical constituents of the branches and leaves of Elaeagnus macrantha Rehd.were studied.The Elaeagnus plants(Elaeagnaceae)are distribut widely in the subtropical and temperate regions of eastern and southeastern Asia.There are about 80 species of this genus in the world,among which about 55 species are distributed in China.The fruits,leaves and roots of the genus can be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis,enteritis,traumatic bleeding,etc;According to the literatures,some compounds including flavonoids,terpenes,alkaloids and other constituents,are isolated from the genus Elaeagnus.Using modern chromatographic technology,22 compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extraction of twigs and leaves of E.macrantha.These compounds were identified to be: betulinic acid(1),ursolic acid(2),28-norurs-12-ene-3?,17?-diol(3),uvaol(4),2?,3?-dihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(5),2?,3?,19?,23-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic-acid(6),2?,3?,19?-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(7),asiatic acid(8a)and arjunolic acid(8b),2?,3?,23-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(9),3-hydroxy-11-en-11,12-dehydrogenation-28,13-oic acid lactone(10),(3?,18?)-20,28-epoxy-3-hydroxyurs-21-en-28-one(11),24-ethyl-5?-cholestane-3?,5,6?-triol(12),stigmastane-3?,6?-diol(13),?-sitosterol(14),?-daucosterol(15),quercetin(16),pachypodol(17),3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1?6)-?-D-glucopyranoside(18),isorhamnetin-3-O-?-D-galactoside(19),quercetin-3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(20),salicylic acid(21),syringic acid(22).All the compounds were isolated from Elaeagnus macrantha Rehd for the first time.In chapter 3,the chemical constituents of Erythrina strica Roxb were studied.It is reported that this genus contains flavonoids,terpenes,alkaloids and other constituents.Using modern chromatographic technology,48 compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extraction.These compounds were identified to be: 10?-hydroxy-11?-methoxyerysotramidine(1),3-epierysotrine(2),(+)-8?-acetonylrythristemine(3),(+)-8?-acetonylerysotrine(4),S-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenethyl)-5-hydroxypyrrolidin-2-one(5),N-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenethyl)-hydroxybutanamide(6),4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-?-phenethylamine(7),8-oxoerythraline(8),(+)-11-methoxyerythraline(9),11-erysotramidine(10),(+)-11?-methoxyerysotramidine(11),(+)-11?-methoxyerysodine(12),(1?S,2?R)-guaiacyl glycerol(13a)and(1?R,2?R)-guaicyl glycerol(13b),(2R,3R)-(+)-dihydrokaempferol-3-?-D-glucopyranoside(14),methyl-?-D-fructofuranoside(15),ethyl glucopyranoside(16),sucrose(17),(+)-10,11-dioxoerysotrine(18),(-)-neoechinulin A(19),3-indoleformic acid(20),1-methoxyphaseollidin(21),phaseollidin(22),erythbidin D(23),(-)-medicarpin(24),alpinumisoflavone(25),5,4'-dihydroxy-7-methoxydihydroflavone(26),isoliquiritigenin(27),apigenin(28),2'-hydroxygenistein(29),7,3?,4?-trihydroxyisoflavone(30),naringenin(31a)and genistein(31b),butin(32),orobol(33),soyasapogenol E(34),soyasapogenol B(35),2?,3?,19?,23-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(36),kaikasaponin III(37),(23Z)-9,19-cycloart-23-ene-3?,25-diol(38),stigmast-5,22-dien-3?,7?-diol(39),loliolide(40),phaseic acid(41),pinnatififidanoid A(42),3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid(43),syringaresinol(44),(E)-4-hydroxydodec-2-enedioic acid(45),lutein(46),?-sitosterol(47),daucosterol(48).Compounds 1-4 were new erythrina alkaloids,5were pyrrolidine derivative,6 were amide.Except for compounds 22,25,31,47 and48,all the other compounds were isolated from Erythrina strica Roxb for the first time.
