| Objective: To assess the safety and efficacy of performing retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomy in patients with a history of previous ipsilateral open surgery. Methods: Retrospective analysis the clinic data of our department seventy-seven patients with non-functioning kidney were treated with laparoscopic nephrectomy from January 2016 to December 2018,including19 patients with prior retroperitoneal open surgery(observation group)and58 patients without any surgery before(control group).Surgical and postoperative indicators were compared between the two groups of patients. Results: All operations were completed laparoscopically with noconversion to open surgery.Compared with the control group, the operative time(180.26±20.981 min vs 168.28±23.925min)and intraoperative blood loss(107.89±33.26 ml vs 96.38±35.43ml)were slightly increased in the observation group, but there was no statistical difference(P > 0.05);Compared with the control group, the duration of postoperative intestinal ventilation time(1.21 ± 0.54 d vs 1.14 ± 0.40d)and postoperative hospital stays(5.68 ± 0.58 d vs 5.48 ± 0.66d),the observation group was no statistical difference(P> 0.05);the peritoneal rupture rate was higher in the observation group than in the control group(21.1% vs 10.3%).Conclusion: Retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomy is a reasonable procedure for the patients with a history of prior retroperitoneal operation. |
