Objective: In this study,we investigated the expression levels and correlation of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?)in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of patients with cell lung cancer(NSCLC),chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and NSCLC with COPD,and preliminarily explored the clinical significance. Methods: The patients who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University and Qinghai Provincial People's Hospital from September 2018 to December 2019 and diagnosed with NSCLC,COPD and NSCLC with COPD were collected. After obtaining the consent and signing the relevant informed consent form, the local alveolar lavage was performed using a fiberoptic bronchoscope.15-20 ml of alveolar lavage fluid was collected into a centrifuge tube.Impurities and mucus were filtered off. After centrifugation, the supernatant was taken. The contents of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-? in the supernatant were determined by double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),respectively, and the conclusions were drawn after statistical analysis of the data. Results: 1.The expression of the three cytokines in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of each group was statistically different(P < 0.05).Compared with the COPD group, the expression of IL-6 and IL-8 in the NSCLC group was significantly increased, and the expression of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-? in the COPD with NSCLC was significantly increased;compared with the NSCLC,the expression of TNF-? in the COPD with lung cancer group was significantly increased.2.In the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of COPD,NSCLC and COPD with NSCLC groups, there was no correlation between the contents of factors IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-?(P > 0.05).3.The expression of IL-6 was significantly higher in NSCLC women and middle-aged than in COPD(P < 0.05),and the expression of TNF-? was significantly higher in NSCLC men with COPD than in NSCLC and COPD(P < 0.05).4.The expression level of IL-8 in lung squamous cell carcinoma and non-squamous cell carcinoma was statistically different(P < 0.05),showing that the expression in lung squamous cell carcinoma was higher than that in non-squamous cell carcinoma. Conclusions:Compared with the COPD group, the expression of IL-6 and IL-8 was significantly increased in the NSCLC group, and the expression of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-? was significantly increased in the COPD with NSCLC group;compared with the NSCLC group, the expression of TNF-? was significantly increased in the COPD with NSCLC group.IL-6 expression was significantly higher in NSCLC middle-aged and female groups than in COPD middle-aged and female groups, and TNF-? expression was significantly higher in NSCLC men with COPD than in NSCLC and COPD men.The expression of IL-8 was significantly higher in lung squamous cell carcinoma than in non-squamous cell carcinoma.
