| Background: Low back pain(LBP)is one of the main diseases that perplex the whole age population in the world.Nonspecific low back pain(NLBP)is the most common. The efficacy of most treatments for lower back pain is uncertain, and none of them is recognized as the most effective.Kinesio taping(KT)is an extremely popular soft tissue taping technology, which has been widely applied in the field of rehabilitation medicine in recent years.Kinesio taping, however,is often questioned whether it is placebo effect, and its effectiveness remains to be studied. Therefore,in the light of excluding the placebo effect, kinesio taping is used to intervene in patients with nonspecific low back pain. The main purpose of this study is to explore the value of kinesio tape in patients with nonspecific low back pain. Objective:To observe the effect of kinesio taping and placebo taping on pain, muscle strength, lumbar activity and lumbar dysfunction, and compare them.Methods:32 male subjects with nonspecific low back pain were randomly divided into experimental group(Kinesio taping)16 cases and control group(Placebo taping)16 cases. The main evaluation indexes of the two groups of subjects were evaluated before, one hour after and one week after taping.Result:(1)There was no significant difference in the basic situation of the subjects in the two groups, and there was no significant difference in the evaluation indexes of the subjects in the two groups before taping(P>0.05).(2)Compared with the two groups at one hour later and one week later after taping, the pain degree of the experimental group was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the two groups one hour later after taping, there was no significant difference in the peak torque of flexor and extensor between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).Compared with the two groups one week later after taping, the peak torque values of muscle group of flexor on the waist and back in the experimental group was significantly different from that in the control group(P <0.05),while the muscle group of extensor on the waist and back in the experimental group was not significantly different from that in the control group(P > 0.05).(4)There was no significant difference in lumbar antexion, left and right lateral bending, range of motion of left and right rotation between the two groups after one week of taping(P > 0.05).(5)Compared with the control group, the Oswestry disability index of the experimental group was significantly different(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Kinesio taping is not a placebo effect.(2)The kinesio taping has immediate effect, but the effect of taping for one week is better than the immediate effect.(3)Kinesio taping can effectively relieve pain, improve muscle strength and reduce dysfunction in patients with nonspecific low back pain.(4)Which has no water rippleās tape, but is the same as kinesio tape in other aspects, also has an effect on pain, muscle strength and dysfunction in people with nonspecific low back pain, but the effect is far less obvious than that of kinesio tape. |
