| Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of EGFR and SOX-2 and the differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis of esophageal carcinoma,and to further clarify the correlation between the expression of EGFR and SOX-2 in esophageal carcinoma.Methods:From October 2017 to October 2019,80 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma undergoing tissue resection and lymph node dissection were randomly selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University.Clinicopat-hological specimens of 80 patients with esophageal cance,30 patients with chronic inflammation of Mucosa were examined by gastroscopy..Collect and sort out the clinical medical records of patients,and record age,sex,tumor size,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis and other general conditions of patients.All the clinical and pathological specimens were examined by immunohistochemistry(SP method)with EGFR and SOX-2.Results:1.The positive rates of EGFR and SOX-2 were 23.33% and 33.33%,respectively,and 67.50% and 76.25% in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma。There was significant difference in the positive expression rate between the two groups.2.The positive expression rate of EGFR and SOX-2 in Esophageal squamouscell Carcinoma increased with the decrease of tumor differentiation.The expression of EGFR and SOX-2 were 53.85% / 46.15% in highly differentiated squamous cell Carcinoma Group,75.61% / 65.85% in moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma group,88.46% / 80.77% in poorly differentiated squamous cell Carcinoma Group,(p<0.05).3.There was no significant correlation between the expression of EGFR and SOX-2 and sex,age,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,and TNM stage.The positive expression rates of EGFR and SOX-2 in Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were:Male(80.39% vs 68.63%),female(68.97% vs 65.52%),age(≥65 years)(82.14% vs69.64%),age(< 65 years)(62.50% vs 41.67%),tumor size ≥4cm(82.93% vs75.61%)(31 / 41),< 4cm group(69.23% vs 58.97%),lymph node metastasis group(80.85% vs 68.09%)and no lymph node metastasis group(69.70% vs66.67%)(p<0.05).T N M staging I + II group(62.16% vs 54.05%),Ш + IV group(88.37% vs 79.07%)(p<0.05).4.The expression of EGFR and SOX-2 in Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was positively correlated.Conclusion:1.Expression of SOX-2 and EGFR in Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.2.The positive expression rate and degree of SOX-2 and EGFR in Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma increased with the decrease of tumor differentiation.3.The expression of EGFR and SOX-2 in Esophageal squamous-cell Carcinoma is correlated.The combined detection of EGFR and SOX-2 can provide reliable theoretical basis for the diagnosis and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma. |
