Objective To explore the factors influencing the short-term efficacy of intravitreal injection of anti vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in diabetic macular edema(DME).Methods This is a retrospective study.Twenty seven patients(41 eyes)with DME were enrolled in the study.The general information of patients was collected,including gender,age,smoking history,drinking history,hypertension history,diabetes mellitus(DM)course,DME course,diabetic retinopathy,DR degree and previous retinal laser photocoagulation(PRP)history,as well as systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,pulse pressure difference,fasting blood glucose,glycosylated serum protein,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein,blood neutrophil concentration,hemoglobin,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen and other indicators before the treatment of leizhumab.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and central macular thickness(CMT)were compared with the BCVA and CMT before treatment at 1,2,and 3 months after the treatment,and the BCVA increase and CMT decrease after treatment were calculated.Then,CMT reduction ? 20% was divided into edema regression group,otherwise,it was not up to standard group;BCVA improvement 2 lines or more was vision improvement group,otherwise,it was not up to standard group.To analyze the factors of BCVA improvement and CMT regression in the treatment of DME.Results 1.DME The BCVA and CMT of the patients were increased(0.13 ± 0.12)and decreased(137.73 ± 165.25)in the first month,increased(0.18 ± 0.18)and decreased(166.49 ± 161.18)in the second month,and increased(0.23 ± 0.19)and decreased(202.00 ± 173.17)in the third month;the difference is statistically significant(P< 0.001)?2.One month after treatment with razumab: the long course of DME has an effect on the improvement of visual acuity and the poor disappearance of edema(P < 0.05),the high neutrophil has an effect on the poor improvement of visual acuity after treatment(P < 0.05),and the thin CMT at baseline has an effect on the poor disappearance of edema after treatment(P < 0.05);two months after treatment with razumab,the long course of DME,the high BCVA at baseline and the previous PrP history have an effect on the treatment of DME After treatment,edema subsided and vision improved poorly(P < 0.05),neutrophil height had an effect on vision after treatment(P < 0.05),and CMT thin had an effect on edema subsided poorly(P < 0.05);three months after treatment of DME patients,DME course was long,BCVA was high,and PRP history had an effect on edema subsided and vision improved poorly There was an effect(P < 0.05),neutrophil height had an effect on poor visual acuity after treatment(P < 0.05),and baseline CMT thin and smoking history had an effect on poor edema regression after treatment(P < 0.05).3.Gender,drinking history,DR degree,hypertension,whether to use insulin,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,pulse pressure difference,course of DM,fasting blood glucose,glycosylated serum protein,blood neutrophils,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein,hemoglobin,serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen had no effect on edema regression and visual improvement after treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusions 1.The therapeutic effect of razumab on DME was significant in a short period of time.The improvement of visual acuity and the disappearance of edema increased with the increase of intraocular injection times and time.2.Patients with DME should be treated with anti VEGF as early as possible and quit smoking.If PRP is needed,it should be treated with anti VEGF.The high blood neutrophil,the high baseline BCVA and the thin baseline CMT are the predictors of the poor effect of anti VEGF treatment.3.Gender,drinking history,insulin use,blood pressure,blood lipid,blood glucose,DM course,DR degree had no correlation with short-term efficacy of anti VEGF.
