?Objectives? To investigate the symptoms of postoperative patients with tongue cancer and to discuss the types of symptom clusters. The influencing factors of postoperative symptom clusters of tongue cancer were analyzed to provide evidence-based basis for establishing effective symptom management model and nursing intervention measures.?Methods?Patients who were pathologically diagnosed as tongue cancer and underwent radical surgery one week after January 31,2019,solstice,2020,in the hospital of stomatology affiliated to the medical school of Nanjing university, were selected as the study subjects. The Chinese version of Anderson symptom assessment scale was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on patients with tongue cancer after surgery to evaluate the basic situation of symptoms.Exploratory factor analysis was used to determine the specific composition of the postoperative symptom clusters of tongue cancer. The patients were investigated by questionnaire on the influencing factors of the postoperative symptom clusters of tongue cancer.Survey included demographic data, disease and treatment of related factors, the level of social support and anxiety, depression and other psychological factors, and the results with tongue cancer patients with postoperative symptom clusters of severity,in turn,a single factor analysis, and then analysis the results statistically significant factors as variables in the patients with tongue cancer postoperative symptom clusters severity of multiple linear regression analysis, finally select group of the influence factors of postoperative patients with tongue cancer symptom clusters.?Results?1 ? According to the analysis results of symptoms and symptom clusters of patients with tongue cancer after surgery, the symptoms with a higher incidence of tongue cancer after surgery were pain(99.20%),fatigue(97.58%),sleep disturbance(96.77%)and dry mouth(96.77%).The symptoms with higher severity score in patients with postoperative tongue cancer were: pain(4.00),sleep disturbance(4.00),and poor appetite(4.00).Through exploratory factor analysis,it was found that these patients had three symptom groups: pain-emotion-related symptoms, energy deficiency symptoms and insight symptoms.2?Tongue cancer patients with postoperative symptom clusters of single factor analysis results showed that age, gender, marital status, work status, family per capita income, educational level, smoking history, medical treatment charge payment, clinical stage, whether lymph cleaning around the line, the number of comorbidities and physical status score, social support, anxiety, depression,a total of 15 factors and the severity of pain-emotional symptoms cluster, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);Age,education level, physical condition score, anxiety and depression were 5 factors that were related to the severity of energy deficiency symptom cluster, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Age,smoking history, clinical stage, whether or not to undergo repair of tissue flap metastasis, whether or not to undergo tracheotomy, the number of concomitant diseases, physical condition score, anxiety and depression were correlated with the severity of the insight symptom group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3?The results of multivariate analysis of the symptom cluster of patients with tongue cancer after surgery showed that the influencing factors of the pain-emotion related symptom cluster were gender, social support, age, educational level, marital status, medical expense payment method and family per capita monthly income. The influencing factors of energy deficit symptom cluster were age and physical condition score; The influencing factors of the insight symptom group were tracheotomy and physical condition score.?Conclusions?1?The incidence and severity of pain were the first among the symptoms of tongue carcinoma patients after radical surgery.2?There were three symptom groups in patients after radical resection of tongue carcinoma, namely, pain and emotion related symptoms, energy deficiency symptoms and disease susceptibility symptoms.3?The factors influencing the pain-emotion related symptoms group included gender, social support, age, education, marital status, medical expense payment method and per capita monthly income of the family. The influencing factors of energy deficiency symptom group include age and physical condition score. The influencing factors of the insight symptom group included whether tracheotomy was performed and physical condition score.
