| Objective: To discuss the correlation between MCI and ZCS;To study the characteristics of TCM syndromes of MCI and the influence of ZCS on TCM syndromes of MCI patients.Method: On the basis of Petersen’s diagnostic criteria,the outpatients recruited from Shanghai TCM-Integrated Hospital were divided into MCI group and Normal Cognition group(NC group).MCI group contained 98 cases and NC group contained112 cases.We collected general data and evaluated neuropsychological scale,sleep scale and TCM syndrome scale according to the different levels and dimensions of ZCS defined in the study.Result: 1.As far as ZCS is concerned,the relationship between ZCS duration and MCI is as follows: With more than 3.5 hours as the reference group,the risk of MCI is significantly increased in the 2.5-3 hours group(OR = 3.40,95%CI = 1.27-9.07)and the less than 2.5 hours group(OR = 6.70,95%CI = 1.81-25.42).Among them,the risk in the less than 2.5 hours group is higher;The relationship between ZCS quality and MCI: With very good sleep quality as the reference group,the risk of MCI is significantly increased in the poor sleep quality group(OR = 2.28,95%CI = 1.09-4.79)and the very poor sleep quality group(OR = 6.65,95%CI = 2.18-20.32).Among them,the group with very poor sleep quality has a higher risk;The relationship between early wake-up time and MCI: With the group without early wake-up as the reference group,the risk of MCI is the highest in the group of early wake-up in period from 1a.m.to 3 a.m.(OR = 5.67,95%CI = 2.01-16.00).For MCI,the risk of ZCS duration(OR = 4.38,95%CI = 1.11-17.32)is higher than that of ZCS quality(OR = 2.00,95%CI = 1.07-3.77)and early wake-up time(OR = 3.44,95%CI = 1.27-9.32).After controlling related confounding factors,it is suggested that ZCSP is a risk factor for MCI(OR=2.53,95% CI=1.29-4.98),and the risk of ZCS duration is most significant(OR=2.27,95%CI=1.54-3.34).2.In TCM syndrome study,the main Zang-Fu organs syndrome scores of kidney,heart and liver in MCI group have statistical difference from those in NC group(Z=-2.26,-1.99,-2.51,all P< 0.05),and especially the syndrome scores of liver did show the most sig-nificant difference(P=0.01);the deficiency syndrome scores of blood deficiency in MCI group have statistical difference from those in NC group(Z=-2.05,P= 0.04).Among MCI patients,the main Zang-Fu organs syndrome scores of kidney,heart and the deficiency syndrome scores of Yang deficiency with ZCS problems have statistical difference(Z=-2.035,-2.059,-2.312,all P< 0.05)from those have normal Zi-Chou sleep(NZCS).Conclusion: 1.ZCS can be regarded as a risk factor for MCI,and the correlation between ZCS duration and MCI is stronger.2.MCI may be related to the TCM syndromes of heart,kidney,liver and blood deficiency,and the influence of TCM syndromes of heart,kidney and Yang deficiency may be more obvious on the MCI patients with ZCS problems. |
