Objective To investigate the value of shear wave elastography combined with contrast enhanced ultrasound in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer and the prediction of benign and malignant prostate lesions, and to compare it with multiparametric MRI based on PI-RADS V2.Methods From December 2017 to December 2019,we selected 58 patients with suspected prostate nodule found by transrectal ultrasound and tissue biopsy diagnosis had been performed in our hospital, with a total of 65 suspected nodules. There were 32 prostate cancer and 33 prostatic hyperplasia confirmed by pathology. All patients were examined by 3.0T multiparametric MRI and shear wave elastography combined with contrast enhanced ultrasound. The above diagnostic methods were compared and analyzed statistically with the pathological results of biopsy pathology as the gold standard. Results Med Calc software was used to analyze the AUC of SWE and CEUS in the diagnosis of benign and malignant prostatic nodules. There was no significant difference between them(P > 0.05).The difference of AUC between SWE and CEUS alone and their combination was statistically significant(P < 0.05)and(P < 0.01).Compared with multiparametric MRI based on PI-RADS V2,SWE combined with CEUS had higher specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and AUC,but there was no significant difference in AUC(Z = 1.371,P = 0.1702).For prostate cancer with Gleason score ? 7,there was no significant difference between SWE combined with CEUS and multiparametric MRI.Conclusion Multimodal ultrasound is comparable to multiparametric MRI based on PI-RADS V2 in the diagnosis of prostate lesions, which has potential value in the prediction of pathological results and the classification of invasive ability.Although there is no significant difference in AUC betweenthe two, they have the advantages of simple operation, low cost and easy to carry out compared with multiparametric MRI.
