The study selected 221 children from a kindergarten,Every child took all the investigation and test.In order to examine the behavior,we used the way of watching children's behavior in an experimental condition.Therefore,the first study would like to discuss the influence of expected reward on the children's helping behavior,and whether the effect will vary with the difficult situation.The second study discuss the reason of reduction effect preliminary.The study include three phrases,in the first phrase,we invested the helping behavior in the natural environment,the children received different rewards during the second phrase,compared their subsequently helping behavior during the third phase.The results of the first study showed that:1.Under the instrumental need helping condition,expected reward group's scores are significantly lower than the unexpected reward group.there is no significantly difference between the tangible reward group and verbal reward group.2.Under the emotional distress helping condition,expected reward group's scores are significantly lower than the unexpected reward group.at the same time,verbal reward group's scores are significantly lower than tangible reward group.3.The development of children's instrumental need helping behavior is better than the emotional distress pain helping behavior.The results of the second study showed that:1.By studying,in the 101 subjects,44 could use the discounting principle.32could use additional principle,and 25could use transitional principle,there is no significant difference in age and gender.2.Expected reward reduced the childrens' helping behavior in discounting group.And the same effect in additional group.It can be concluded that expected reward reduced children's instrumental need and emotional distress helping behavior.expected reward reduced the helping behavior tendency is independent of subjects' level of fountioning on the schma.
