| The Chinese modern and contemporary literature is full of all kinds of writing of disease and medical,which has been continuing and developing since entering the new century.Due to the double change of social environment and literary environment,the theme connotation of the writing of disease and medical in the new century is derived from the literature in the new period inside of the modern literature,the "Seventeen Years" literature and the literature in the Cultural Revolution.This paper treats of the relationship among literature,disease and medical which is in the novels of the first decade of new century in specific context of age,culture,literature,and explores the new tendency that has appeared in the writing of disease and medical of new century as well as the reasons and significance of it.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part sorts out the new century novels whose main plot is about disease or medical and summarizes the main types of the writing of disease and medical in the new century novels,then contrast them with the modern literature and the contemporary literature(during the last 50 years of the 20th century)and analyses the similarity and difference among them.The second part focus on two typical novels(Save Breastwitted by Bi Shumin and Dream of Ding Village witted by Yan Lianke)to dig out the life consciousness embodied by disease and medical writing in the new century by analyzing the text,and interpretates its cultural implication.The third part starts with the studying of the evolvement of doctors’ images in the modern and contemporary literature,then researches the vivid and different doctors’ images by analyzing three important novels(Barefoot Doctor Wan Quanhe witted by Fan Xiaoqing,Grenouilleswitted by Mo Yan and Xue Linglong witted by Bi Shumin),and thereby excavates the causes and significance of image remodeling of doctor in the disease and medical writing of new century novels.The fourth part begins with the presentation of present reality of doctor-patient relationship,then investigates the doctor-patient relationship in the works(Save Breastwitted by Bi Shumin,Yinao witted by Jin Lu and Angel Heart witted by Liu Liu)of three different rendering emphatically to discover the narrative logic and cultural logic hidden behind the text,and analyses the impact and significance of this type of rendering further. |
