The Classicism of the western music is generally regarded as a period lasting from 1750s to 1820s,during which a group of preeminent musicians, such as Haydn,Mozart and Beethoven, emerged and held a dominant position in the history of the world music, bringing a far-reaching influence on the following generations. The"Musical Prodigy" Mozart,as a typical representative of this period, dabbled in several fields of music and created nineteen piano sonatas in his life, among which k310,a quite mature piece, was created during the period of Mannheim and Paris when Mozart was suffering several blows of life, unsuccessful relationship, loss of his mother and stagnancy in the career.Although Mozart’s music normally featured the pace of ease and joy,k310 actually adopted the A minor, showing the deep feelings of sorrow, anxiety and unease in the touching melody and became the much-loved piece of Mozart. As more and more performers are in favor of performing this piece in their concert,it is of great importance to grasp a proper understanding of it and command skilled techniques. This thesis focuses on the research of Mozart’s K310 piano sonatas. The first chapter analyzes the creation background, including a short introduction to Mozart’s works. The second chapter is an analysis of the musical form, performing techniques and emotion processing of the three sonatas in K310 in order to better understand and interpret them, which can be used to deal with the problems in the future teaching and practice. The third chapter makes a comparison of the performing differences between Mitsuko Uchida and Lang Lang, further analyzing the pieces in the fields of intensity treatment, performing techniques and emotion treatment, and drawing on the techniques of the pianists to better interpret the performance of K310 and experience the spiritual meaning and the artistic charm of Mozart’s music.
