President Xi Jinping put forward the development strategy of "the Belt and Road Initiative "in 2013,which aims at establishing the community of shared interests,a shared future and shared responsibilities with political mutual trust,economic integration and cultural tolerance through strengthening the mutual beneficial cooperation,interconnection and interworking on the basis of discussing together,building together and sharing together.Showing the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture and innovation of modern culture through the haze of the economy that highly and consciously reflects the culture leading the economy.It is obvious that "the Belt and Road Initiative " is a golden opportunity to resuscitate the Chinese traditional culture.How to make our profound traditional culture go abroad to be introduced to the world and bring mutual benefit and win-win result?It is a task cannot be ignored currently.There is a commercial village in ancient times,which is broad and prosperous,thus it is called Dunhuang.Dunhuang is the key junction of the famous Silk Road in history and the major hub of economic trade and cultural diffusion on the Silk Road in ancient China.After the birth of Mo Kao Grotto at Dunhuang,the miracle treasure--Dunhuang art has been created in human history and culture.The "Dunhuang dance"becomes one of the indispensable and valuable parts as the symbol of living culture.The image data of "Dunhuang dance" directly originates from the murals and sculptures in Mo Kao Grotto at Dunhuang,in which the dance and music images reflect the Buddhist culture and reappear the history of Buddhism.It shows the rich and colorful artistic features and strong artistic vitality based on the profound Buddhist culture.With the popularity of Dunhuang dance in recent years,this brilliant representative of artistic culture should be inherited and promoted continuously and stand on the world's dance circles.Perfecting the overall brand system,expanding the brand promotion and consolidating the brand effect are the ways which must be passed.This topic aims at refining the concise visual signs to apply to the image design of Dunhuang dance brand through deconstruction and reorganization of characteristic elements of Dunhuang dance in Buddhist culture,which not only makes Dunhuang dance brand image more in line with the international aesthetic trend,but also is the inheritance and innovation of Chinese traditional culture.This article focuses on the exploration and research of design practice that can be divided into five parts totally.The first chapter mainly introduces the research objective,significance,background,research techniques of the topic and the key problems to be solved,etc.The second chapter firstly analyzes the cultural concept and aesthetic value of Dunhuang dance,then concludes the cultural symbols of Dunhuang dance,which can be refined from four dances.The third chapter analyzes the market conditions of Dunhuang dance.Analyzing the present situations of Dunhuang dance market and the demand of audiences through the investigation report combined with reality to conduct and design more exactly.The forth chapter refines the visual symbols of Dunhuang dance and applies them to the image design of"Prosperity of Silk Road" dance regiment brand combined with the reality.The full text is concluded at last.The innovation point of this topic is showing people the integration of the splendid artistic value forgotten soon and current aesthetic taste,to let people understand the unique Dunhuang dance culture,thus the distance between historical culture and audiences is shortened.
