This study tries to apply Mind Map into senior high school's English writing teaching.For teachers,the author tries to provide a useful teaching tool to help their English writing teaching.Mind Map is not only an effective teaching strategy for teachers but also an acceptable and popular learning method for students in writing.This article collates and studies the relevant information relating to mind maps and students' English writing through literature review,questionnaire survey,interviews and experimental research and analyzes the change before and after the experiments so as to validate the experimental hypothesis.This study result shows that Mind Map,as a mind tool,can arouse students' interest and make students more confident in writing;can broaden the extent and content of writing;can cultivate and train the divergent thinking of students;can improve students ability to design the whole discourse;can make the students' articles more logical;so that the writing level of students can be improved.As an auxiliary means,Mind Map has some certain significance in improving the junior English writing teaching.
