Textual Research Of Traditional Despotism Critical Theory In Modern China

China's political thought has experienced a significant transformation from tradition to modern and the critique of traditional despotism,as an important part,has go through this process.Therefore,Combing how the“traditional despotism”is criticized in modern China is of significance for understanding the modernization process of Chinese political thought.This article attempts to study modern Chinese traditional despotism critical theory through critical paths of despotism of Chinese,Western and Marxism in the historical and cultural background in modern China and look into the transformation from tradition to modern of political thought of China.This article has 5 parts:The preface introduces the origin,methods and main concepts of this article and point out,based on the review of related research,the innovations of this article.The main body of this article firstly combs the rise,formation and development of these three critical paths in the aspect of interaction between the historical and social reality and thought and culture.After that,this article tries to study,with the methods of the Conceptual History and history of ideas,the key concepts and their source and pedigree of these three critical paths and comb the historical process of the construction of the concept system of the critical paths of China,West and Marxism.in modern China from the underlying propositions of political philosophy,such as "the ownership of power","the legitimacy of power" and "the checks and balances of power".Then,this article undertakes a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between these three critical paths of China,West and Marxism,to integrate,from the aspects of ethical culture,ideological system and political system,these three critical paths,forming a comprehensive cognition of the critical theory of Chinese tradition despotism.The conclusion,based on the research of before,attempts to form some useful thinking on how to adequately rethink and acculturate Chinese traditional political thoughts.And to deal with the contradictions and tension between ancient and modern,Chinese and Western in modernization process of the Chinese political thought.
