Research On The Popularization Trend Of Micro-documentary The Great Shokunin

With the rapid development of technology and economy,the continuation of traditional handicraft is facing a severe challenge.People begin to realize the importance of this traditional culture and try to adopt the documentary method to maintain the continuation.As a modern way of communication,the craftsman documentary is not only a new art carrier,but also an important tool for cultural recording and dissemination.However,the rapid development of mass culture and new media incurs great changes in traditional craftsman documentary.As a result,the craftsmen documentary has begun to develop toward popularization in order to adapt to the process of high-speed informatization.This thesis,based on the three seasons of The Great Shokunin,intends to explore the popularization trend of The Great Shokunin.First,the thesis introduces the development process and characteristics of the traditional documentary.In the second chapter,the thesis mainly puts forward the background of the emergence of micro-documentary with the purpose to identify the relationship among micro-documentary、micro-era and popular culture.And this chapter also introduces the definition and characteristics of micro-documentary so as to enable people to better understand the appearance of the micro-documentary The Great Shokunin.The main content of The Great Shokunin is to promote some endangered traditional crafts,but it uses the means of mass culture.Therefore,the third chapter is mainly about the concrete manifestation of the popularization of traditional culture in The Great Shokunin from three aspects of the media,the setting of the program content and the function transformation.The forth part of the thesis mainly analyzes the revelation and reflection of the popularization trend of The Great Shokunin.Under the trend of diversification of new media,the Great Shokunin is anetwork of micro-documentary form,and all the material is taken from the traditional craftsmen.The traditional culture and popularized media of it sublimate during continuous integration,which laid a good foundation for the development of craftsmen documentary.
