The Preliminary Research On The Bone Tools Of Zaoshugounao Site In Chunhua County, Shanxi Province

For a long time,the ancient "Bin" areas lack of systematic and large-scale excavation sites,which result in the main characteristics and its origin of Pre-Zhou culture,the distribution of "gong liu ju Bin" period and such major issues has not been determined.The archaeological excavation of Zaoshugounao site in Chunhua county in Shanxi province provides a number of important new information for academia.Confirmed by the unearthed relics characteristics,Zaoshugounao site should be one of the important high specification large-scale settlement of the ancient "Bin" area from Pre-Zhou period.This site preliminary showing its uniqueness and importance,and it will no doubt to have a positive role in promoting the Pre-Zhou culture research of the ancient "Bin" area and even the guanzhong area.This paper took the unearthed bone tools from Zaoshugounao site as the research object,and the technology is adopted to these bone tools observation analysis,bone tools was investigated from the angle of making technology,and through simulation experiment,to explore the craftsmanship of bone tools from Zaoshugounao site.At the same time this paper compared bone tools from Zaoshugounao site with bone tools from the site of shaanxi area and other area at the same time,the preliminary research results are drawn.This paper main contents are the following several parts:(1)Drilling pattern research was made on the oracle bones,research on general bone tools are classified.(2)The technology analysis is adopted to these bone tools,morphology analysis including super depth of field microscopy and scanning electron microscope,surface chemical composition analysis including XRF,XRD,FTIR analysis methods.(3)The experimental archaeology research included the earlier stage processing of bone samples and drilling simulation experiment.The earlier stage processing of bone samples took the methods of boiling and natural burial to remove bone surface grease,the samples were observed under super depth of field microscope system and evaluate the effect of the two methods.The drilling experiment used different material of drills(wood,bamboo,stone,metal)and the site of the local different particle size of grains of sand to simulate the combination,at the same time,the drilling trace of microstructure was observed under the super depth of field microscopy system.(4)The review of the bone tools from Zaoshugounao site and the comparative study of other sites at the same time,combined the bone tools from Zaoshugounao site and other cultural connotation,further discussed the nature and status of Zaoshugounao site,made a further understanding of Pre-Zhou period culture in Shaanxi province.
