Belief Conversion In Embedded Networks

This article focuses on the practice of the network church belief of the WeChat group "respect the Lord as the saint",adopts the method of virtual ethnography and field investigation,and discusses the Christian faith embedded in the network and the folk logic which is concealed by technology through the depiction of the new Christian faith folklore space which is fully developed by the Internet technology.In the newly created belief and custom,"with the custom of the people",presenting the social facts,combing the repetition and change of the traditional beliefs and folklore,and discussing the change of the belief and custom as a continuation of the belief.This study is divided into three parts: the first part,from the real family church to the virtual network church,is the study of the vicissitude of the rural Christian faith space.Through the empirical investigation of the family churches in Guo Zhuang village,it introduces the emergence of the network church,the personnel group of the network church and the activities of the network church.The two part describes the local attachment to the village family church in the network church and the network church members.The third part,according to the analysis results of the first two parts,focuses on the practice of the belief in the network church,and reveals the church service which has been done to the traditional church in the network church.The fourth part is the main conclusion of this article.This article holds that the religion of technical intervention strengthens the faith while simplifying the believers’ belief in the external form,and expands the faith space of the believers,but anything is a two sided,technically intervened religion.It changed the form of religious belief,the integration of technology and folk culture and their own mechanism.
