Study On Music Education Under The Guidance Of Tao Xingzhi National Calamity Education

The national calamity education is one of the important education theories Tao Xingzhi put forward during the war of resistance against Japan.The national calamity education is an important educational idea put forward by Tao Xingzhi during the Anti-Japanese War.After the Japanese invasion of China began in 1931,the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement rose.Affected by this,Tao Xingzhi put forward the idea of national education and launched the national calamity education campaign,which continued until 1949.National calamity education closely linked Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought with the movement of fighting and saving the country in the war of resistance.He proposed that national calamity education hope to arouse the public’s consciousness of saving the nation through education and arouse the patriotic feelings of the masses,so that the masses can organize themselves to go to the national dilemma spontaneously.Therefore,the essence of national education is the mass education aimed at saving the country.Its theoretical core mainly include "life is education","society is the school" and "teaching and doing oneness",and its development is divided into three stages of germination,establishment and development.This thesis mainly discusses the music education under the guidance of Tao Xingzhi’s national education thought from two aspects of theory and practice.Under the guidance of national calamity education,its concept of music education is mainly reflected in the emphasis on music education,the emphasis on the social function of music education and the promotion of the popularization of music education.In the implementation of the concept of music education,Tao Xingzhi put forward the ideas of art friend system,the kids teacher system and the public singing groups that are suitable for the practice of the national calamity music education.After sorting out and summarizing the concept of the national calamity education and the concept of music education under the guidance of it,we further explored in depth the specific content of the practice of music education under the guidance of the national calamity education.The professional music education practice guided by the national calamity education thought is mainly represented by Yucai School.It analyzes and combs the professional teaching system and specialized teaching content of the Yucai School Music Group.It summarizes the characteristics of the music group teaching practice including the emphasis on training.Student creativity and focus on the combination of theory and practice in two aspects.The practice of popularized music education under the guidance of the national calamity education thought is mainly manifested in the practice of music education in the early days of the Xin’an tour group,and the practice of popular music education conducted by Li Ling from 1945 to 1949,through detailed analysis and combing of two parts of music practice.It reveals the intrinsic link between the two and the national calamity education.
