In China,National Matriculation English Test(NMET)serves as one of the most unique and the largest test scale, and its goal is to select qualified and high quality senior high school graduates for colleges and universities.National unified test paper is that the ministry of education assigns a paper for provinces and cities that can't start autonomous proposition. In the process of the gradual implementation of the new curriculum reform, the voice of "one roll" is becoming more and more intense. At present, there are 25 provinces and cities across the country have adopted the the national volume. Therefore, the quality of the national volume is very important to the examinee, the propositional and the analyst. In the national volume of English, reading comprehension accounts for about 27%.It can be seen that the validity of reading test questions is closely related to the overall validity of the papers.By consulting the literature,I find that there are few studies on the content validity of reading comprehension in the national volume of the national college entrance examination. Therefore, the study of the content validity of the national volume on reading comprehension is particularly important. In this paper, the author will take the new curriculum standards, teaching syllabus, examination syllabus and examination instructions as the basis for testing. At the same time, the author will set up a new framework suitable for this research based on the construction of task characteristic framework of Bachman and Palmer, combined with the characteristics of the English examination. From the three dimensions of text input, expected response and the relationship between input and expected answer, the author will analyze the content validity of the reading comprehension of NMET(2013-2017),including 48 short passages and 180 questions.Through careful analysis, the author found the following characteristics:First, from the input side, most of the new words, derived words, compound words, their numbers are moderate, comply with the relevant requirements;the new information distribution is reasonable;the sentence difficulty is moderate;the total length of the essay has been more than 900 words,in accordance with the relevant requirements, and there is an increasing trend;the average speed of the essay is between 47.4 and 58 words per minute, which is in line with the first level of reading in the syllabus. However,as a selective examination,it is necessary to improve reading speed and students' reading ability. The proportion of specific topics is higher than that of the general topic, which is in line with the requirements. But for education and autobiographical topic examines the proportion of small, and the topic is too focused on the general topic.Designers should increase with the subject of the test, highlighting the educational function of the genre;the genre distribution is relatively balanced. However, there are individual test papers with incomplete coverage and few types. It is necessary to increase the inspection of other genres, such as novels, literature and so on.In terms of readability, the difficulty of most chapters is in line with the requirement of medium difficulty. But there are also individual chapters that are either too difficult or too easy. When the propositional selection is selected, the difficulty of the material needs to be controlled.Second, from the expected answer questions dimension,no new words, length to meet the requirements;six kinds of skills test is not comprehensive, mainly in details and inference questions, and there are only 1 chapter structure problem examination.Thirdly, from the relationship between the two,it is found that the reaction between the input and the answer of the examinee is the non reciprocal internal reaction. At the same time, the ratio of local skills is more than that of the whole ones, and the questions that get direct information are more than those of indirect ones. Finally, according to the results of analysis of materials, the author put forward some suggestions: the length should be maintained in a stable range;genre types are more abundant;increase the types of reading skills;increase the simple answer type appropriately;improve students' reading speed.
