In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s market economy and the globalization of social activities.This provides a great opportunity for the development of secondary vocational schools.At the same time,the government has paid more and more attention to secondary vocational education.In 2013,the Ministry of Education issued the "Professional Standards for Teachers in Secondary Vocational Schools(try out)",which requires all secondary vocational schools to take "Professional Standards" as an important basis for teachers’ assessment.Taking the case study of the professional development of business English teachers in B secondary vocational school in L city as an example,the present situation of professional development of business English teachers in this school is analyzed by means of literature research,questionnaire investigation and interviews.After investigation,it is found that there are some problems in the professional development of business English teachers in this school.In view of these problems,this paper analyzes the basic reasons that affect the professional development of business English teachers.Finally,this paper puts forward the improvement strategies for the professional development of the business English teachers in this school.The writer hope to contribute to the steady improvement of professional development of Business English Teachers in B Secondary Vocational School through these suggestions,...
