The thesis analyzes the works of Dufy.From the respects of the theme and the style of works,we can find out a typical characteristic of Dufy’s works.Also,the thesis explores the historical,social and personal reasons how “Dufy Style” was shaped and the relationship between Dufy and the fauvism.To sum up,it proves that duffie is perfect in playing the role of the noble artist who has surpassed the past to enrich the present and lead the future.In his various art selections,only the unique creation methods of "light and color" have never been changed.Dufy wasn’t limited by any style of genre,and he insisted on his own style.His art spirit plays a virtual role in the later artistic creation.
