as is known to all,shot objects are key points and cores of a documentary film,thus to be acquainted with,understand and deeply grasp its nature should be the basic ability of a documentary film creator.In dramaturgical theory,shot objects with strong self-awareness could show a certain degree of initiative when faced with the camera lens,they could consciously switch the shooting states,positively show,build and perfect their own images according to the self-role definition and try to leave some kinds of impressions on the audiences.For creation of documentary films,such kind of self-presentation is a conscious self-building behavior of the shot objects without disobedience of the authenticity principle of documentary films,while there is still differences between themselves under the natural status.This requires that the photographers balance the documentation and dramatization of documentary and reexamine the emotion relationship with the shot objects.With the special-subject documentary film Café of Second Life as example,this thesis discussed the characteristics of shot objects from 5 aspects,research background,meaning,method and innovative points,etc.were stated in Part I;the property problems of shot objects in different practices were summarized and discussed in Part II.The 2 conditions of shot objects were analyzed through the dramaturgical theory,and the state of presentation of shot objects in special-subject documentary was emphasized on in this part.The in-depth analysis on processes and modes of self-presentation including role definition,role making and impression management,etc.of shot objects during shooting were made in Part III;it was put forward in Part IV that the differences between natural and autonomous states and the primary and secondary relationship between records of actual events and dramatized programs should be dialectically analyzed,and that the problems on relationship between the photographer and the shot objects in special-subject documentary films should be rethought;finally,the whole thesis was summarized,and it was put forward that the photographer should have an in-depth cognition of self-presentation of shot objects,reasonably make use of it and grasp the sense of propriety.
