The Symbolic Exploration Of Chinese Traditional Patterns In Animation Modeling

China traditional pattern is a long history of Chinese civilization in a bright pearl,or complex,or refined,showing the Chinese culture and national characteristics,contains a positive spirit of our people.The study found that,although Chinese traditional patterns in ancient and modern design is widely used,but most of the time showing a foil and rhetorical effect,only occasionally in the industrial design reflects a functional significance.In Chinese animation works,Chinese traditional patterns are mostly represented by props or backgrounds,and rarely show their symbolism.So I created an short animation "blooming".The short film is divided into four parts.The first part mainly uses lotus pattern to symbolize the protagonist's birth and the purity and lovable of the maiden period;the second part mainly symbolizes the protagonist's gradual maturity and the joy of marriage;the third part mainly uses the honeysuckle pattern to symbolize the hardship and hardship of the protagonist in life.In the cold winter,the fourth part mainly uses the combination of patterns,moire and Taichi lines to symbolize the girl's pain,so as to achieve reconciliation between life and herself.Through the exposition and analysis of the author's animation "blooming",this paper explores the symbolism of Chinese traditional patterns in animation modeling,making Chinese traditional patterns as the subject of substantial meaning in the animation works,and showing its unique charm as well as profound connotation and cultural value.
